It’s a really lazy day !
Aphrodite II is the longest running mini cruise in Cyprus, launching back in 1972. She’s one of the most beautiful boats in Ayia Napa’s harbour, Aphrodite II is a true goddess on the med … she just looks so elegant cruising along the rugged coastline to the Ghost City of Famagusta, one of my favourite cruises and btw, everyone disembarks with a smile on their face!
The Crew
John, Maid Marion and the whole crew excel hospitality to the extreme. I mean, this crew are just such a fluid team that have been together for 15 seasons now and they just keep getting better. The compliments that this crew get are exemplary, just check out over 1,800 Reviews on TripAdvisor!
Chill out on the med
The Lazy Day Cruise didn’t get its name by accident … it really is a lazy cruise in comparison to one or two other party boats that set sail from the same harbour. Please don’t get me wrong, they are cool trips too, but The Lazy Day Cruise is more designed for families who want to chill out on the med.
Versatile
In fact, the cruise caters for all ages and many who go on the party boats also book this trip towards the end of their holidays, because everyone has to chill sometime 😉 … I think you should start your holiday with this cruise just in case you want to go again!
Ghost City
Captain Skevos sets sail at 10:15 am daily, up to 150 passengers chill out on the three decks. On top is the sun deck with free sunbeds, on the middle deck, the lounge and bar, and free WiFi … So log on, grab a drink and it’s off for a wonderful cruise to see the legendary Ghost City of Famagusta as close as you can get from a wonderful viewpoint, and a great backdrop for a selfie.
Blue Lagoon
Heading west, their first swim stop is the amazing Sea Caves, so don’t forget your camera and then the tranquil Blue Lagoon at Cape Greco. Onto eerie, empty, Famagusta, then back via the idyllic Konnos Bay. You can take your own snorkel equipment coz the sea is crystal clear where they stop, or dive off the decks, or sip an ice-cool cocktail and just get lazy and top up the tan!
Lunch
Lunch is included and it’s cooked fresh by top Chef Magdi. Choose either roast chicken with roast potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables or as you board, just let them know you’d prefer a vegetarian meal. There’s a fully stocked bar serving all your favourites to help keep you refreshed, plus ice creams and snacks.
Banter
This crew just gel so well together, I just love the banter between the bar staff lmao! oh and, there’s life jackets available if you’re not much of a sailor, with nice toilets and showers on the lower deck.
Multi-Lingual
The cruise is guided in 3 languages, English, German and Greek. John is your host extraordinaire and your DJ and he’s put together a really wicked selection of happy, chill out summer tracks from the ’70s and ’80s promising to top up with some ’90s this season! … Check out their Facebook Reviews and their Videos here
