If you love Asian food but you can’t make your mind up between Indian or Thai cuisine or maybe a good Chinese, or you just love Sushi, don’t worry here’s the perfect option. It’s 4 different Asian cuisines all under one roof! As far as I know, it’s unique in Cyprus and I don’t just mean the idea!
How did it happen?
I caught up with Nikos who also owns Blazing Saddles Pub next door, who told me “I opened the Indian Restaurant in 2013 because there wasn’t an authentic one in the area. Then one year later my customers persuaded me that there wasn’t a decent Chinese either and chop chop it happened!” And then, quite recently Nikos again listened to his customers’ wishes, and added Thai & Sushi, so as you’re in Cyprus, now you can just ‘Meze’ it up Asian style!
Menus
In the 4 kitchens, Asian Chefs conjure up an array of the delights of the East. Speciality Wok Burners and a traditional Tandoori Oven assure authentic cooking styles and with over 200 dishes on the menu you’re bound to find something to tickle the taste buds. Nicos said, “We use only the finest, freshest local produce and import those important spices and ingredients indigenous to the far east”
Carousel Tables
It’s a spacious restaurant, with comfortable seating, inside or out for over 200 people. Authentic Asian, Indian and Chinese decor, that obviously cost a few bob. Ornate lanterns and carvings of elephants and Buddha make for a good backdrop for a selfie and really enhance the overall relaxed Asian ambience, and of course, they have those large solid rosewood carousel tables, so you can spin your party buffet meze style ’til your fav is in front of you 😉
Indian
As it’s one of my fav cuisines, this place is heaven. There’s over 100 Dishes to choose from, everything from awesome Onion Bhaji and Homemade Nan Breads, cooked fresh on the walls of their Tandoori Oven, the Peshwari absolutely amazing. Even the Basmati Rice is specially selected for that perfect quality accompaniment, without cutting costs. You really must try the Lamb Curry but, they serve one of the best Chicken Tikka Masala I’ve ever tasted, OMG! … oh and, wait ’til you try their Sizzling Dishes!
Chinese
This is a culinary experience in Chinese and Thai dining. Homemade Spring Rolls, crispy and perfect. The Seafood Soup is a tasty entree, the Prawn Szechuan, is a seafood delight and I just love the Dim Sum Steamed Parcels. The Noodles are freshly made always, even more, Sizzling Dishes, but my favourite is their speciality, Beijing Duck with Pancakes, always hard to resist, might as well add a few Beijing Prawns and a few Baby Back Spare Ribs.
Saucy Ideas
Another thing I love is all their sauces are served separately, so you can dip whichever one you fancy … lucky they got revolving tables … Check out some of their Videos
