Fat Mama’s is one of those special places that’s so good you’ll just keep going back, so naturally after 25 years it gets really busy every night with bookings not accepted after 7 pm, but don’t worry, if you have to wait to be seated you can enjoy a drink from a well-stocked bar.  Mixing one of my favourite Mojitos or try one of their intoxicating cocktails, and at 2 for the price of 1 during happy hours!

Friday nights are Fish & Chip Nights, and a slice and a cuppa !

It's a family-run business, and a more international eatery would be hard to find, with Mediterranean, Greek, Italian and Indian cuisines to add to the traditional Cypriot choices on the menu, Andonis calls it "Multi-Cultural-Fusion" ... I suppose, that says it all!

I really enjoy my job, even more so when I find something a little different and was thrilled when Valentina and Yiannis invited me to meet them at their Traditional Romanian Restaurant in Paphos … They asked me if I'd like to try one of Yiannis' Soups for lunch, and I said "just a little please" and they served me Meat Ball Soup with some warm pitta and green chili peppers on the side … I just have to say; "I wish I hadn't said 'just a little' … it really was delicious!"

It's a lovely idea for a truly different day out. What I really like about The Camel Park is it’s diversity, as there’s always something new to see every time you go. With such a lot of animals, there’s often a few babies around including iccle Camels, ranging from as little as 2 weeks old … they are just delightful! You can choose to stroll around at your leisure or there’s guides who offer information in several languages.

As Leonidas warmly shared during our conversation, "We have evolved beyond a typical butcher shop.  It's now a modern-day 3-in-1 marvel, offering a traditional butchery with a twist, an extensive delicatessen, and an exquisite selection of fine wines that we produce." ...

It's a family run hotel apartments, more like a mini resort ... Just a few minutes walk from the main strip and just 500 metres from the Main Coral Bay Beach ... If you love Paphos, I highly recemmend this accomodation ...

We’re excited to be the first to announce that fresh and dried Carolina Reaper Peppers are ready to be grown in Cyprus.  So get ready to meet the king of heat, and trust me, they’re not for the faint-hearted.  But, in Cyprus, these super hot peppers will also be blended with extra virgin olive oil to create 'PowerJuice', so I caught up with owner and pioneer Vasillies of Larnaca Park & Fly fame to find out more ...

The location is wonderful, up in the hills, with absolutely stunning panoramic views overlooking the St. George coastline of Paphos.  There's over 100,000 square metres of lush green vegetation, ponds, flowers, and trees including the amazing Silk Floss Tree from South America, covered in thousands of spikes, it's just crazy !

The setting is a beautiful environment, the historic, Ibrahims Khan, old market style, alleys in all directions, everywhere you look unique designs, interesting workshops and activities.  Architecturally it’s stunning, delectable use of stone, metal, walled gardens and an outdoor theatre area.  A natural shopaholics heaven, with exquisite handmade artefacts, mosaics, jewellery, carpentry and tasty delights, oh and The Honey Restaurant … ho hum!
