Things To Do

It's a lovely idea for a truly different day out. What I really like about The Camel Park is it’s diversity, as there’s always something new to see every time you go. With such a lot of animals, there’s often a few babies around including iccle Camels, ranging from as little as 2 weeks old … they are just delightful! You can choose to stroll around at your leisure or there’s guides who offer information in several languages.

I am delighted to introduce you to The Lordos Group of Hotels as I've worked closely with their 3 hotels and indeed the Lordos family since 1993.  They are without a doubt one of Cyprus' leading companies and their 3 hotels certainly excel when it comes to location, comfort, and hospitality.  Each hotel with its own specific features, each hotel unique in its own way, all ideally situated in perfect locations, pretty much, right on the beach!

It's amazing how many people still didn't know this place exists ... it's situated in the village of Avgorou, and includes beautifully landscaped herb gardens, the woodland area created in the shape of Cyprus, scattered with the endemic trees and shrubs of Cyprus, a Lavender Labyrinth, and it boasts the first and only hedge maze on the island, all 2000 sq.m. of it ...

Standing tall and proud on the left of Ayia Napa Harbour is the biggest, most stunning, luxurious yacht on the quay, and we were invited by my very good friend Mike for their Sunset Cruise.  We recently made it on board and I must say, my first impressions were, wow! This boat is definitely the most luxurious yacht on the harbour!

I loved this place the moment I saw the name, … It's a British Style pub, from the outside all white and doors, really cool signage and some comfy seating to enjoy a drink in the late sunny afternoons and watch the world go by, hanging baskets and signs everywhere. Inside, pristine, the bar wood and red brick, it's spacious with comfy seating, out back a Unique Beer Garden with regular live music events. Over to the right a separate games area, with pool table and regular Killer Pool and a Bar Football table … and to top it off one of the best chef's in Cyprus!!!

The Black Pearl's adventure glides you along the rugged coastline towards Cape Greco.  Hoisting the colours, Captain Jack Sparrow, Sweet Bonnie and all the other gorgeous pirates, who will get you in the mood, making pirate flags and dressing you up and teaching you some pirates facts and some pirate lingo ... and you'll even learn the Pirates Oath ... ho ho ho, and a bottle of Rum!

... But tbh, The Square Bar is better known for their Live Music, every night from 8.30 pm 'til late.  That's mostly down to Peter and Rob, of the legendary 'Live Lounge' in Cardiff fame, who told me "We partnered up with Panicos in 2014 to bring you the very best in live bands, duo and solo artists" ... Check out their Facebook Reviews, oh and, go early to avoid disappointment, coz this place gets really busy! ... I caught the Revolverlites here recently, check out their videos and reviews here ...

It's a short trip to the Seacaves where he moor's up and then dives in and starts off the underwater show ... Then they'll let you swim into one cave and out another before the cliff jumping! ... Every time I go on this trip it's different, except at the end, everyone gets off smilling! Highly recommended! Check out our Live Videos here 

Louise was on the 'You are Here Map' ... and directed us towards the country trail to the waterfalls ... this trail crosses the stream several times, now with wooden bridges to help, as last time I went, there were no bridges so you had to take your shoes off and get your toes wet ...

I just love really cool ideas, especially when they have anything to do with the sea and they fall into our 'Things to Do' category.  This watersports activity is for both 'Kids & Grown Ups' and tbh, I can't wait to bounce on it again!,  oh, I think you'll find it a little Random too ;) ... if you want to see what I mean, check out the Jungle Float Promo Video by Gorilla Video, quite apt ;)
