I popped into catch up with George and Eva Mintis who have been vey busy since Covid started, with the increase of interest from people moving to Cyprus from the EU and UK ... the topic of conversation moved towards Brexit and it seems they are even busier now, assisting with the purchase of property, offering legal assistance and property conveyancing and indeed immigration procedures after Brexit.  Cyprus of course is still having close ties to Britain.  On that note, this law office is highly respected in all these procedures.

By rule of thumb if its quiet in here, it'll be dead everywhere else! ... Gary's Bar & Grill is without doubt one of the best eateries in Napa, recently, yet again, awarded a Certificate of Excellence 2020 by Trip Advisor, it's becoming a habit and tbh, they deserve every accolade they get! ... I love what they've done to this place from the décor to the menu, to the relaxed ambience and attenuative service, with sea views to die for, by day or by night!  I've definitely be put them on one of my top places to eat, drink and relax, even if it's just for a coffee with apple tart or just a cocktail.

With 4 decades experience you can imagine they've mastered the art of floral decoration.  Tried and trusted by many top wedding coordinators, they're normally involved in about 700 weddings yearly.  They also look after many hotels including The Grecians, Aeneas, Napa Mermaid and Nissi Beach Resort to mention but a few and of course their new and repeat clientele, both local and international.

It's neatly designed with total relaxation in mind and music with a little thought behind it ... A Salt Cave, Hot Jacuzzi Spa and Steam Room all closely linked.  On our last visit on a 'Couples Spa Sention' Package with Louise, my lovely able assistant, we spent about 20 minutes in each one before our full body massage.

Lucas then gained many more certificates, the wall behind his desk proudly showing the extensive effort this car lover has put into his business.  Opening back in 2005 Lucas has made it his job to study and keep up to date with technology, as these days you can just plug your car into a computer in Paralimni and BMW in Germany tell you what it needs, amazingly to the 'fraction of a litre' of engine oil.

Pete told me he imports the best Cod from the North Atlantic, cuts it himself into 340 gsm portions, dipped into his mums secret recipe home made batter, which he said "I cant tell you the secret coz I'd have to kill you" hmm, and then fries it fresh to order using the finest vegetable palm oil, he says; "because I think it gives my cod the best flavour" ...

I’ve often watched Jenny completely change people in a few minutes … it is quite amazing what a good quality hairpiece can do to make you look like someone new or maybe you just want to surprise someone, either way, a visit here will suffice … oh, and btw Jenny has a few selected summer clothing designs and sandals and not many people know this; she contributes considerable amounts of her profits to Children in Need in African … an absolutely amazing woman !!!

It's on the corner of the entrance to Bar street, and btw, it's one of the oldest bars in Napa!  Hosts Andreas and Karina, are completely 'down to earth' and absolutely love their pub and have continued it's 30 year tradition by being one of the only bars that stay open all year.  Joining the crew recently Kevin of Three Lions Pub fame is bringing the pub grub menu to another level.  Naturally it's a favourite with locals and long stay workers and of course they look after everyone that wants to join them, tbh, it's one big happy family here, and quite unique!

There's regular theme nights including Belly Dance Nights and Fancy Dress Nights, so you might find them looking like police officers and even witches ... Naturally, the girls like to have fun, so they'll dance for you at your table, maybe even a little striptease and if you'd like something a little more private?  Just ask, who knows it might be your lucky night?
