Unique
Taking over the aptly named Din Dins, in June 2018, Glen, Debbie and Sharon had some really cool plans, and it’s obvious they got it right, from the start! Opening this family bar and restaurant, with comfy seating, both outside on the covered decking, edged with potted plants or inside, where you’ll immediately notice a really friendly atmosphere, so the idea is, there’s no rush if you’re eating, and if you’re not hungry you can just chill with a drink and soak up the atmosphere, quite unique, and on that note, the impulse banter between this crew in full flow is just awesome …
Behind the Bar
Naturally well stocked so you’re bound to find your favourite tipple … On draught, at the mo, there’s Carlesberg, Leon or San Miguel with more coming this summer … Imported Branded Spirits, specialising in Top Gins and Mixers, carefully selected Wines from Cyprus, Greece, South Africa and Australia at very reasonable prices, nothing over at €15 a bottle …
Cocktails
Enjoy a Champagne Cocktail with your breakfast for only €2.50, or Deb’s famous Long Island Iced Tea for Lunch, hmm … Delicious Daiquiris, or my fav The Royal Mojito … and you really must try the explosive Harry & Megan’s Cocktail, a blend of Champers, Strawberry Liqueur and Candy Floss, warning it really does explode 😉
Mornings
Starting not too early at 10 am, serving a good old Full English Breakfast, Mini, Regular or Belly Buster, brilliant … oh and Veggie Breakfasts too, that’s just Halloumi, Mushrooms, Hash Browns, Eggs and Baked Beans, hmm is that a full English without the Bacon and Sausage 😉 oh and a delicious freshly ground Italian Bean Coffee or a lovely pot of tea …
Platters
If you’re in the sharing moodz you must try one of their Mood’z Platters … 6 Scampi, 6 Chicken Nuggets, 4 Spring Rolls, Potato Wedges, Garlic Bread, served with a choice of 2 dips … perfect!
Lunch & Dinner
A delightful selection of hot and cold snacks, from Asia to the UK and back to Cyprus with an international twist for the veggies and vegans too, so you really can’t go wrong … Their specialities include Home Made Soups, like the chunky veg, Mmm … or the Sirloin Steaks, Stiffado and Tavvas to the Chicken Tikka Curries, and fast becoming a house favourite is Sharon’s Home Made Steak Pie served with chips, peas and or Mash … one of my favourites the Hunters Chicken with a choice of potatoes … oh and the New Zealand Lamp Chops are to die for! …
Sundays
One of the few places that don’t do a traditional British Sunday Lunch coz they said everyone else does, so instead you’ll get a Special of the Day, but tbh next visit I’m going for the Pork in Mushroom Sauce with Roasted Fresh Veg and a choice of potatoes coz it looks absolutely delicious.
Kids & Grown Ups
With a separate menu for the kids, things like chops and chips, Sausages n chips, Spaghetti Bolognaise, or Chicken Nuggets all served with ice cream and a drink for only €5 and you can size down any meal for the kids or papoo and yia yia, that’s the oldies in English 😉 … With regular Special Offers on 3 Course Set Meals … oh and a Separate Take Away Menu is available and all credit cards are accepted.
What’s On
Naturally you’ll also find a little entertainment; things like Friday Fun Quiz with extras like Bingo and Sticky 13 and Live Entertainment on Lazy Sunday Afternoons … Mmm !!
Lovely Touches
It’s lovely to see places with extra little touches like winter hearty warmers and baby changing facilities and real fluffy cotton towels to wipe your hands on, in the ladies loos … oh, btw, they’ve got some really cool ideas starting soon for this summer including a new menu, so don’t forget to follow them, or us … and you can check out their Trip Advisor Reviews here …
