I've been eating here since they opened and its definitely one of my favourites. These days they're swinging towards a Wine Bar Ristorante, combining a modern family atmosphere in a minimalist design setting, it's cool and breezy through the summer and warm and welcoming in the winter with one of the best kitchens in Cyprus!

I recently accidentally discovered 'Nai Coffee' on the road from Dherynia to Sotira.  The building is the stunning, old 'Kalograia Taverna', the barn-style staggered apex roof, striking and unusual.  It was the Illy Coffee sign that initially grabbed my attention, and I fancied a coffee, so my curiosity getting the better of me, I just had to pop in ...

By rule of thumb if its quiet in here, it'll be dead everywhere else! ... Gary's Bar & Grill is without doubt one of the best eateries in Napa, recently, yet again, awarded a Certificate of Excellence 2020 by Trip Advisor, it's becoming a habit and tbh, they deserve every accolade they get! ... Favoured equally by our locals as too our international visitors, The Golden Coast Beach Hotel is the perfect place to relax and unwind, as you watch the stunning Cyprus sunrises looking east, over the tranquil, sheltered Mediterranean Sea! Eight Restaurants and Bars make it hard to choose which one to savour the flavours of the world! Whilst their facilities and activities are enviable!

There's always something happening at the harbour, so whether you're just going for a stroll to see the boats or your're coming back from a boat trip or you just want to get away from the maddening crowd, this is a great eaterie ... in fact this restaurant really stands out as one of Cyprus' finest fish taverns ... just check their Trip Advisor reviews ...

I was thrilled to finally get a chance to catch up with Zannetos at Fig Tree Bay Zefkas George & Son Restaurant, and I was amazed to learn that the history of Fig Tree Bay actually started here ... This beach, of course, has always been popular with the locals way before tourism really existed. Situated on the far west of Famagusta Bay, where the locals went to get away from it all, in the days when there was absolutely nothing here but sand and a few footprints ... George, who is one of the few experts in Cyprus also holds a diploma on coffee, explained his process of selecting and roasting and making speciality fresh ground coffee, and I must say, I now know much more about coffee.

Nestled on the wonderful Kalamies Beach in Pernera, this spacious family run restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  This truly is a first class eaterie, continuing to provide traditional freshly cooked Cypriot cuisine served with pure Cypriot hospitality for almost forty years ...

The Grand Slam is a family run British style boozer, it's even on the corner, on the sunny side of the road, and once known as The Corner Pin, inside it looks busy, with quirky little designs mostly mums doing, I just love the Table Tops they're well cool ... There's music memorabilia all over the place with a professional light and sound system, a well stocked bar, with a lovely front terrace onto Kapparis Avenue ... it's a great stop off for an afternoon drink, good pub grub, and there's something happening here almost every night!

Over a gorgeous cappuccino I asked Vaida, why she created 'The Loop'? … She explained; "I'm originally from Lithuania, but lived in Holland for many many years and fell in love and married a Cypriot and finally moved to Cyprus just 4 years ago" … Vaida continued, "I noticed there was a distinct lack of places to get good fresh food, not just vegetarian and vegan but specialising in healthy eats and healthy diets".
