What's On Cyprus

What really makes this bar so special is the ambience, unique in Napa.  It’s many a favourite place to meet to start the night out in Napa, often as not, some just stay all night, 'til the clubs open.  It usually starts off mellow and ends with you dancing and singing your heart out.  The beauty of it is the journey; early in the evening, it feels intimate, almost like a small Irish pub session.  As the night builds, the tempo lifts, the crowd joins in, and suddenly the whole place becomes one big chorus ... Just brilliant!

One of the most popular bars in Protaras, staying open all year, it's British style with traditional Cypriot hospitality and great pub grub !

Since they opened, this pub, come restaurant, has really gained an excellent reputation, firstly for their delicious food, passionately cooked by George, and equally for their traditional Cypriot Hospitality, Entertainment, and welcoming atmosphere.  On the menu, you'll get British all-the-way food ..

The place looks traditionally British, well, it's on a corner for starters, but these days it's got a European twist as lots of their repeat clients are from various parts of Europe, particularly Scandinavia.  There's a covered terrace all the way around, the décor; lots of wood, comfy benches, colourful tables, low or high ... a row of tall red stools surrounding the bar, oh and blackboards everywhere and the host oozes hospitality ...

As you all know, I love to tell you about my favourite finds, and in my hunt to discover the best beachside bars and eateries in Cyprus, this one is without a doubt one of my favourites, and I was more than pleasantly surprised when I found out that it's strongly linked to Paragka Beach Bar on Trinity Bay in Ayia Triada Bay, Pernera

There's regular theme nights including Belly Dance Nights and Fancy Dress Nights, so you might find them looking like police officers and even witches ... Naturally, the girls like to have fun, so they'll dance for you at your table, maybe even a little striptease and if you'd like something a little more private?  Just ask, who knows it might be your lucky night?

To Steki tou Boss, in the heart of Paralimni is an authentic Cypriot Taverna, offering that 'Home from Home' feeling! Inside the décor, in one part designer influenced bespoke wooden tables and chairs made really comfy, patchwork high stools up at the bar, blended with cafe-style seating, lots of wood, village artefacts everywhere, plants and really cool lighting. The menu is a tick list of what's in the kitchen so you create your own meze, 3 of those, 2 of these, none of them etc ... just brilliant .... Highly recommended ... I've watched this pub grow since it opened in 1988.  It's all dark wood, tables, comfy seats and benches.  The whole place is covered in artefacts, flags, posters, blackboards and hundreds of photos added over the years.  I'm sure I'm in a few, ha!, in fact, I probably took a few of them too.  It's a GastroPub with a cool mix of an international clientele, and of course, the locals in the area, even our nationals who swarm down to the East Coast for a swim on a weekend, and something to eat, and all add to the ever-increasing repeat custom and inevitably, I'd have to say; it's one of the most successful pubs in Cyprus! ... Tbh, the weekends are soooo busy I prefer to go Monday til Thursday, I get more attention 😉

... it's an absolutely wonderful find, just off Kapparis Avenue, just over 200 metres to the beach, in one of my favourite areas in Cyprus, with a massive veranda, so you can relax overlooking the sea that’s about 200 metres away ...
