The pub looks just like a country pub should it's all beer garden out front, with wooden decking and terraces and huge umbrellas and sails and crimson flowers ...

It's a family run hotel apartments, more like a mini resort ...

The place looks so welcoming, a spacious alfresco lounge under vines with comfy sofas and just inside on the covered terrace, tables immaculately set, pristine, polished wine glasses of various sizes ready for a fine selection of wines, inside is lounge, bistro style, clean and shiny, a well stocked bar with stools if you only want wine 😉 and unusually loos on the same floor, so not walking up and down stairs, very cool ! ... Oh and really good cuisine !!!

It's been over 26 years since my very good friend Leo opened New Horizon Pub.  These days Leo's son Stephanos is at the helm, supported by his two righthand men Yiotis and Steve, that have been with him 25 years, and this place just seems to be getting better and better!  It's an old English style bar, with lots of polished wood, high stools along the bar, out front a gorgeous beer garden on the partly covered terrace, and loads of things on the walls and it's a family pub so children are more than welcome! ...

I was delighted to be invited to catch Bill and Ems, aka Dejavu, playing live at Lithos Bar & Grill in Larnaca.  On that night they were joined by Andreas, their drummer, and as a trio, they go by the name 'Strings Attached'  I really loved this gig so much, especially their covers of Fever, and Hotel California, so I grabbed the chance to ask Bill if we could get together for a chat.

... we have created a menu, traditional but not, it’s totally unique, partly influenced by her yiayia, a fusion of Greek, Cypriot and Spanish cuisine, but she assured me none of the dishes you’ll find anywhere else, because they are the creation of their imagination, using always fresh produce, everything is cooked to order, nothing is prepared and always around her flavours and essences of Cyprus, that she uses to compliment every dish … oh, and if she had her way, she would change the menu every day” … So do look out for their daily specials and make sure you leave room for dessert!

The Village Inn is traditionally British, from the beer garden out back to the golf society you're welcome to join, and the pub grub is just awesome !

There's a bar up in Bar Street Notorious for it's attitude and quality drinks ... Notorious for the sound system and it's music policy and just as Notorious when it comes to age policy. Good friend of mine and owner Phytos of ex Club Media fame, assures me you'll find the 20 plus party crew here ! That's why it's Bar  Street's finest !!!

There's 8 different Cocktail Mixing Competitions that will be held over the two days, with big cash prizes to be won.  At the exhibition will be around 20 Booths, where members of The Cyprus Bartenders Association can present their services and local products, anything from glasses, and bar tools to craft beers and award-winning wines and spirits ...

This is as traditional an English pub as you’ll find in Cyprus.  It’s on a corner for starters, with wooden decking and comfy seating outside on the shaded, decked, beer terrace, inside its cosy, with lots of dark wooden beams, bar stools, pictures and railway memorabilia and a gorgeous open fire for the winter, to warm your brandy on … with regular eat-in clients and a successful entertainment programme ...
