I'd heard that the delightful Kaliva Suites in Ayia Napa are totally automated.  The installation by my very good friend and ex-boss Andreas Demetriou.  So, as Home Automation is fast becoming very popular in many homes and businesses around the world, I popped into have a chat with Andreas of DJS Professional, Light, Sound & Automation in Paralimni to find out more ...

It's getting busier down here these days, with such a choice of cuisines and ambience,  many non residents are taking advantage of such a wonderful setting with a delightful backdrop and you don't have to make your mind up which one of them you'll visit first!

Topical Things are starting to happen, with more of the hospitality industry trying to offer the few tourists here somewhere to go ... but I think I’m gonna be saying a few if's, maybe’s and and hopefully’s this month and, if I can give you just one worthwhile tip, "it’s summer, so make sure you drink lots more water!"

... Because it's that time of the year when the quilts and blankets come off the bed, heavy curtains are replaced with nets, the winter wardrobe switches places with the summer one and it's time to look good and enjoy our summer ...

To be honest if you'd asked me if I'd ever move to Cyprus in 1992 I'd have laughed at you but we stopped looking for excuses and decided to give it a go, moved in '93 and never looked back ... We now live in a country with one of the best climates in the world, long hot summers, short mild winters.  I believe it's the safest place with under 2 million population.  The Cypriots dote their children and live for the table.  We have several of the finest beaches in the world and I'd say the best sea I've ever had the pleasure to swim in ... so don't think about it just do it!!
