You all know I love to find something a little different, especially when it falls into our 'Things to Do' category ... Only opening in May this year, I did a little more research and gave them a call.  We arranged a meeting with owner Lenny at the Putt Putt Mini Golf Course, so I could find out more ...

I love it when I find 'something out of the ordinary', slightly off the beaten track, owned by a guy who just wants to do what he loves with a passion.  Savvinos is dedicated about absolutely anything to do with Skatsa and 'Skateboarding'in Larnaca.  I've known him from the old indoor skate park days. At midnight all the lights are extinguished in the church and the priest comes from behind the doors of the altar carrying a candle.  Walking to somebody in the front row and lighting their candle, this person and so on then pass the light from candle to candle and the light fills the church, symbolizing the Resurrection.  Everyone then kisses one another and exchanges the words 'Christos Anesti' - Christ has risen, 'Alithos Anesti' - truly He has risen. ...

my first impressions when I walked through the door, was wow this looks professional, the quality stands out, the rustic, warehouse feel with high ceilings and cool lighting.  A warm welcome from the crew plenty of room, out front about 250 square metres of Wines & Spirits, mixers and soft drinks, out back more than 50 Beers from around the world including Belgium, Germany, Holland, Czech Republic, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Cyprus and of course the UK!

Most nights, you'll find up to 12 gorgeous dancers and hostesses, from all over Europe, to keep you company if you buy them a drink ... The girls are always in the mood to party, they're just waiting for a good reason, and the more you party, the more they do and the girls love to dance, so they're happy to dance on the poles, tease with a lap dance, give you a wicked Fire show, or maybe a little private dance?

So, I asked George to tell me about his choice of beef ... and quite amazingly he told me; "We were the first to bring the burger scene to Larnaca.  We mated Black Angus steers with our cows at several local farms, which gave birth to more Angus beef and we're now in our 16th generation and naturally, we get our beef fresh from our associated local farms ... ah ha! that's why my burger tasted so good!

I love the tall beer barrel tables and stools!  Inside, it's all wood, comfy seating, chandeliers, a cool stage, wicked lighting, music posters, and rock memorabilia all over the place creating a really cozy atmosphere ... oh, and a well cool ambience that's made by lots of like-minded, live music, rock, blues and occasionally jazz freaks, of all ages and nationalities ...

What started as a weekend gig, grew into a week long party, a week long pure rock festival, live bands on a big stage, and often in intimate venues, where you get a chance to grab a drink and socialise with like minded mates you've not seen since the last festival, as well as the band members who hang around the venues, along with the thousands of rock fans that started to follow Cyprus Rocks Festival over ten years ago ...

... from the intro to the end, the girls put on an funny and spectacularly electric show with such passion and sooo much energy !!!

By weekday this place is pure chillout ... but on the weekend it's event time ... and August Bank Holiday Friday Simon Vitulo was setting the tone for the whole weekend ...
