The décor of their elegant shop is delightful, from the moment you open those big, solid doors.  The centrepiece, a spectacular glass bubble chandelier, surrounded by very impressive and immaculate displays of the finest, exclusively designed jewellery in Cyprus, in fact internationally, as Melekkis is becoming an international brand name with plans to expand worldwide in the future..

When I called by to find out a little more about them, I was well impressed ... it's a unisex salon, fully air-conditioned, with a comfortable front studio for manicures and pedicures and 3 more rooms for their speciality medical treatments, facials, massage and body treatments and their services are extensive, to say the least, with a resident and fully qualified Plastic Surgeon and two resident hairdressers that love to style, to add to a long list of health, beauty and wellness treatments including ...

Outside banners, bars, flowers, a huge stage, people and flags everywhere and the Christmas lights were getting us into the festive spirit as if we needed it ... as the night progressed, the drinks flowed, the canapes were delicious and Elena Tofas' Passion Dance School entertained the crowds, just before a few thankyous for coming from George and Eva and the cutting of the cake and the live music was just about to happen when I had to go ... only George & Eva can throw a party like this! Brilliant!!!

This impeccable Wine Bar & Cafe, serves the finer things in life, just about the best coffee you'll taste anywhere in Cyprus.  Complementing your selection of over 300 different quality wines with signature Fruit, Meat or Cheese Platters, introducing you to imported cheeses from all over the world, maybe with a little marmalade, hmm, trust me, you won't find this selection anywhere else, oh, and freshly baked bread and breadsticks and btw, you really must try the new Charguterie, French-based Mixed Meat Platters plus of course everyone's favourite, the freshly made Sushi and some spontaneous finger foods encompassing the trend towards the healthy living options.

Franco goes to Milan in Italy twice a year, to the MICAM Fair, the biggest and most important Shoe Fair in Europe and orders new lines for the seasons, just before launching either his Spring & Summer Fashions or their Autumn & Winter Collections ... his carefully made selections are mostly Spanish, made from top quality leather, with his favourite designers names including; Garvalin, Agatha, Ruz de la Prada, and Plakton.

Not just for hotels, this place caters for everyone who loves to cook ... The stock is extensive, to say the least, and delivery is nationwide, which is why they're favoured by many top hotels, restaurants, bars, cafeterias, apartments and private and domestic homes.  I think it's the only place you can go to find just what you need, on every visit!

Fat Mama’s is one of those special places that’s so good you’ll just keep going back, so naturally after 25 years it gets really busy every night with bookings not accepted after 7 pm, but don’t worry, if you have to wait to be seated you can enjoy a drink from a well-stocked bar.  Mixing one of my favourite Mojitos or try one of their intoxicating cocktails, and at 2 for the price of 1 during happy hours!
