Sonny’s Restaurant, Paphos
Coming outta Shepherds Bush in London, Chris with over 30 years experience, and catering in his blood, following in his father's footsteps, in 2012 he finally sealed the deal to buy the old Banana Cabaret Bar in Kissonerga, then, better known for its sauciness than its sauces 😉 .... tbh, Sonny's looks good the moment you arrive, and then, it just gets better!
Blazing Saddles Pub, Coral Bay, Paphos
If you're up Corel Bay way a visit to Blazing Saddles Pub, is a must ... It's a huge pub all wood and cowboy style with really cool saddles for those selfies ... The ambiance is traditionally British, the selection of draught beers and drinks extensive, and the pub grub excellent, with nightly entertainment you really can't go wrong! ... OMG ! Imagine what happens when they have the occasional 'Happy Days' ? ...
Karlina Restaurant Cafe Bar, Paphos
Times have changed as far as the fascia goes, but for the past 28 years, the service is still exemplary and the cuisine is as traditional as it gets. It's a family-run restaurant, from Luigi's warm welcome to the homemade Cypriot specialties using mum's secret recipes and the lovely touch of complimentary seasonal fruit, grown in dad's orchard, that they'll bring to your table for afters.
Beatriz Cafe Bistro, Old Town, Pafos
I love a new find ... this wonderful Bistro is set in the cobbled alleys at the top end of Old Town Paphos. It's the dream of Soula and Aristos come true. Soula has a love of cooking, especially 'sweet things' and now you can go and enjoy a little naughtiness in a quaint French Bistro style ambience, where everything just seems to slow down and stop, and all you have to think about is which coffee to choose !
Chloe’s Chinese Restaurant, Paphos
I love the menu which explains the recipes and regional influences, the free Chinese horoscope booklet and the interior design which is traditional, with spacious comfortable seating, separate small rooms for a little privacy, banqueting rooms for up to 50 people, and the view overlooking the harbour through beautifully etched glass windows is breath taking ... and the overall ambience will just carry you all the way into the east.
Duomo Ristorante Italiano, Paphos
Authentic Quality Italian Cuisine at it's best, and served with a touch of Italian finesse !
Tea for Two Cafe Restaurant, Kato Paphos
Home from Home
There's three, Tea for Two's in Paphos, sort of gives you an idea which way these eateries are going. Without doubt a fantastic choice for breakfast, served all day, and arguably the best in town, or lunch, just cool and breezy in the summer or warm and toasty in the winter months, and a home from home dinner menu, fantastic!, or maybe just indulge in coffees' cocktails, drinks and desserts, they're all home made, delicious and huge portions! ... oh and just a little bit naughty !!!
O’Neills Irish Bar & Grill, Kato Paphos
This is, without doubt, one of Paphos' finest eateries ... It's a traditional Irish Bar, so authentic all the furniture was crafted in Ireland an imported over, lots of dark warm wood, benches and stools, cottage cabinets and red brick. There's plenty of room inside, a nice covered smoking room and a lovely breezy sun terrace out front with comfortable seating, and the pub grub just a tad above the rest ... it's just like you've walked into a bar in Dublin, only a bit warmer!
Gold Temple Chinese & Indian Restaurant, Coral Bay
with large solid rosewood carousel tables, so you can spin your party buffet 'til your fav is in front of you 😉
The Village Inn, Kissonerga, Paphos
The Village Inn is traditionally British, from the beer garden out back to the golf society you're welcome to join, and the pub grub is just awesome !
