What's On Cyprus

Cyprus of course has 330 days sunshine a year, so tennis being a summer sport means we get a long season in 🙂 ......

The pub looks just like a country pub should it's all beer garden out front, with wooden decking and terraces and huge umbrellas and sails and crimson flowers ...

This is a magical fairy tale of Mermaids, Pirates and lost treasures ...

Over a delicious coffee, Chris said, ''we just came on holiday, decided to move, and pretty much bought the pub straight away", ha! I've heard that story so many times! ... but tbh, these guys have just blended in like they've been here forever ... I expect it's got something to do with the traditional Cypriot Hospitality with a South African Twist, that oozes from the family and crew.

Getting a round in ... There's four fantastic 18 hole courses on the island, and visitors are often surprised by the standard of the greens here...

I've known the crew since the early '90s and watched as they put all their love and devotion into their business, to build up a regular repeat customer which allowed Pafos Watersports to keep growing.  Today they're probably the biggest and arguably one of the best water sports and boat trips companies in Cyprus.

It's a family run hotel apartments, more like a mini resort ... Just a few minutes walk from the main strip and just 500 metres from the Main Coral Bay Beach ... If you love Paphos, I highly recemmend this accomodation ...

This is, without doubt, one of Paphos' finest eateries ... It's a traditional Irish Bar, so authentic all the furniture was crafted in Ireland an imported over, lots of dark warm wood, benches and stools, cottage cabinets and red brick. There's plenty of room inside, a nice covered smoking room and a lovely breezy sun terrace out front with comfortable seating, and the pub grub just a tad above the rest ... it's just like you've walked into a bar in Dublin, only a bit warmer!
