Aphrodite Cruises I, Protaras
Captain Andreas takes you along the coast for a 2 Hour 30 minute mini cruise, first as far as you can go to the UN line to see the Ghost City of Famagusta, where you'll learn about the history of what happened and why it's still empty after over 40 years, and it's told in 3 languages, English, Russian and French, brilliant !
Nemo Submarine, Ayia Napa
Setting sail at 11 am daily from Ayia Napa’s splendid harbour, heading West along the coast to Palace Caves where they'll stop for a quick swim and you can watch them feeding the fish and it's a great place to do a bit of snorkeling and if you ask them nicely they'll let the kids steer .. I just love to see their facial expressions, brilliant!
Lithos Rock Band, Protaras
Lithos Rock Band have been part of the rock scene in Protaras for over 12 years, these day's they're booked 7 nights a week at the excellent Q Bar in Protaras! What I really like about them is you don't really know what they are going play each night, coz that depends on the audience ... with some 400 to 500 tracks on their play list, they don't even plan what they're going to play next ... one thing's for sure you'll get a professional show from a group who can play so well together and btw, they can all sing too!
Ayia Napa Parties, Ayia Napa
Not just Parties ... This little gem at the busy end of Nissi Avenue is everything you'll need to enjoy your holiday. It's a family business with a personal service, they'll help you choose the best things to do, when to do them, the best places to see and how to get there, and the best parties to be seen at, and you know, they wanna be on those boat trips and excursions with you and might just be dancing next to you at the parties!
Island Homes Estate Agents, Paralimni
What I like most about this estate agent is the 'Extremely Transparent' tag they've developed from trust and pricing to the way they'll point out the bad points along with the good ones. I love the extra effort they put into each property, checking on title deeds, and building permits and keeping close ties with local authorities so that they pretty much know everything about each property on their books.
Aristides Craft Distilling, Tseri, Nicosia
My initial interest was to find out about their gins, Aris explained, "it's what originally brought us back to Cyprus, 'to create a quality craft gin'. Our initial inspiration was the aroma of The Troodos Mountains after a long dry summer when it first rains and we wanted to capture exactly that and put it in a bottle and we called it Aoratas Dry Gin which in fact last year won a gold medal.
Cannabis Store, Limassol & Ayia Napa
Cannabidiol has no psychoactive properties in the body, in simple words you don't 'get wrecked'. It helps contribute to the overall well-being of the body and reduces body pains and muscle spasms. It is an effective anti-inflammatory and helps with diseases such as in my case cancer, but also psoriasis, epilepsy, depression, anxiety, loss of appetite, and many, many more. It also helps reduces stress, stops nausea and vomiting, and is antioxidant and neuroprotective ... It's worth opening your mind to natural remedies and CBD is truly amazing!
Bootleggers Bottle Shop & Cava, Pernera, Protaras
This place is a little warehouse of goodies, wines, spirits, beers, ciders, soft drinks, energy drinks, and party nibbles all at crazy discounted prices boasting the best offers you'll find anywhere. There's also a selection of alternative souvenirs like speciality spirits and after dinner accompaniments .. plus you can pay in your currency with a no commission money exchange service ...
Friendship Circle, Larnaca, Cyprus
This amazing duet arrived early, togged up to the nine's in protective gear and scared the living daylights out of my neighbours, I had to go and explain ... They came inside, separated and started, one spraying sanitiser onto the floors the other with steam cleaner in hand, covering all the surfaces, sofas, and door handles and everything else ... I must say they seemed very thorough ...
Silver Apartments, Vacation Rentals, Limassol
They're in the quiet part of town but close by are lots of cafe's, restaurants, wine bars, convenience stores, bakeries, shops, and pharmacies. Just a short walk is the old port, the new port a little further and all those gorgeous old buildings in old town, converted into lovely eateries, wine bars and exclusive designer shops.
