Jack & Sons name has become synonymous to the Pafos region for exceptional service, and reliability, but with reasonable rates, increasing their client base yearly and they assure me that their customers' comfort and safety always come first! ...

Coming outta Shepherds Bush in London, Chris with over 30 years experience and catering in his blood, followed his father's footsteps and in 2012 he finally sealed the deal to buy the old Banana Cabaret Bar in Kissonerga, better known for its sauciness than its sauces ;)  He named it 'Sonny's, after his son, so I suppose it was inevitable Sonny would join his dad sooner or later, together they make an unbeatable team! ... And tbh, you'll probably need to book to make sure you find a table!

I caught up with Nikos who also owns Blazing Saddles Pub next door, who told me "I opened the Indian Restaurant in 2013 because there wasn't an authentic one in the area.  Then one year later my customers persuaded me that there wasn't a decent Chinese either", and chop-chop it happened!  ... And then, quite recently Nikos again listened to his customers' wishes, and added Thai & Sushi, so as you're in Cyprus, now you might as well 'Meze' it up, Asian style!

I was delighted to be invited to catch Bill and Ems, aka Dejavu, playing live at Lithos Bar & Grill in Larnaca.  On that night they were joined by Andreas, their drummer, and as a trio, they go by the name 'Strings Attached'  I really loved this gig so much, especially their covers of Fever, and Hotel California, so I grabbed the chance to ask Bill if we could get together for a chat.

I met Andonis when they first opened, he told me "all our luxury vehicles are new models, kept immaculately clean, and naturally fully air-conditioned for your comfort".  "All our drivers are dressed smart, young, and fully licensed and insured and will be ready to look after you always, offering the best prices, so that you'll use us every time you need a taxi, and then recommend us to your friends"! ... It's Just One Call to be safe!

It's a lovely idea for a truly different day out. What I really like about The Camel Park is it’s diversity, as there’s always something new to see every time you go. With such a lot of animals, there’s often a few babies around including iccle Camels, ranging from as little as 2 weeks old … they are just delightful! You can choose to stroll around at your leisure or there’s guides who offer information in several languages.

Lakis explained; "We provide a high-level, professional service, and we now have 6 Qualified Barbers with at least 4 years experience, working with us at our two shops ... we specialise in Trend Setting Haircuts, Textured Crops, Cutthroat Shaves with Hot Steam Towels, Beards ... plus Men's Facials, things like ingrowing hair extraction and much more" ... Lakis continued; "we love doing Skin Fades, & Head Shaves with the sharpest of accuracy"!

Over a delicious coffee, Chris said, ''we just came on holiday, decided to move, and pretty much bought the pub straight away", ha! I've heard that story so many times! ... but tbh, these guys have just blended in like they've been here forever ... I expect it's got something to do with the traditional Cypriot Hospitality with a South African Twist, that oozes from the family and crew.
