What's On Cyprus

This is one restaurant you can put into the exquisite range ... it's right in the heart of Ayia Napa’s bustling tourist centre, and without doubt, one of Cyprus' premium eateries.  In fact, Sage has been impressing me with their culinary flair for over a decade, with a strong emphasis on quality fulfilled with passion, that starts from the moment you arrive and are greeted by their charming Maître ’D ...

I've been eating at Ropas since my first season here, the year they opened in 1991 … It's one of my favourite places to eat if I fancy authentic Cypriot Meze … Of course I've known Costas and his wife Nikki since then and I have to say this guy oozes traditional Cypriot hospitality, so too Nikki and family, son Stelios out front and daughter Flora helping Nikki in the kitchen, tbh this team are really hard to beat!

Taking over the aptly named Din Dins, in June 2018, Glen, Debbie and Sharon had some really cool plans, and it's obvious they got it right, from the start!  Opening this family bar and restaurant, with comfy seating, both outside on the covered decking, edged with potted plants or inside, where you'll immediately notice a really friendly atmosphere, so the idea is, there's no rush if you're eating, and if you're not hungry you can just chill with a drink and soak up the atmosphere, quite unique, and on that note, the impulse banter between this crew in full flow is just awesome ...

... excellent reputation just keeps their clients coming back again and again and I must admit it's one of my fav's ...

Situated just to the right of Ayia Napa Harbour, a little more serene, relax with a drink out front in a modern chilled ambiance, or under the huge covered terrace or out back, overlooking the med ... it really is a perfect place to enjoy fresh premium seafood delights and there's a huge pristine lawn and a playground area for the kids with swings, trampolines, tunnels, slides, and things ... We recently popped into Eden Square, firstly for dinner at El Chico Mexican Restaurant and following our delicious meal with a couple of perfect Mojitos in Nalu Cocktail Bar in Protaras. I grabbed a moment to chat to owner Constantinos on the night and I arranged a day to do a catch up …

This is one of those places that just gives you a warm family, home from home feeling in a relaxed ambience, the best pub grub and the more than occasional parrrrrty!

It's a pub with British style pub, with an international clientele, an awesome crew, a relaxed ambience, and a great place to eat traditional pub grub with a twist oh, and an awesome place to watch all the live sports ... It's like home from home even if you're on your own! ... What else do you need from a pub? Your favourite tipple, they've probably got it!

George says ''expect to find an awesome selection of spicy food, coz the boss loves it spicy!'' ... but by 'spicy' he doesn't mean hot hot, he means full of flavours of the East, some mild, some medium and many that give a kick ... Everything is cooked to order, using freshly cut local vegetables and the finest cuts of meat, and seafood and imported ingredients from the East ... Then three top Chefs conjure up an extensive selection of Asian cuisines from, China, Thailand, Korea and Japan and of course Sushi ...

I love what they've done to this place from the décor to the menu, to the relaxed ambience and attenuative service, with sea views to die for, by day or by night!  I've definitely be put them on one of my top places to eat, drink and relax, even if it's just for a coffee with apple tart or just a cocktail.
