Now, this is where this place excels ... they call them seasonal 'Rain Gifts' because Tony and the family are dedicated to bringing you the freshest and most sought-after wild Cypriot produce, like baby wild Artichokes, Snails, fresh Asparagus, and Tony takes a regular trip to Paphos to find rare wild mushrooms, all part of the norm.  Tony often walks 15km to 25km a day to bring you the best selection that night ... needless to say if you like wild Mushrooms omg, this place is an absolute must!

I met Daniela at The Cyprus Bar Show in Kapparis, and when I found out she had recently bought one of my favourite eateries 'Cinnamon Lounge Bar' at the 100+-year-old Mansion aka Shongas Inn, in the heart of Deryniea Village, I just had to find out more.  So we arranged a meeting and over a delicious coffee I was more than pleasantly surprised, this lady is on another level ...

The resort is in the ever-popular coastal area of Pernera, in Protaras.  This long-established family-run destination has become far more than just a restaurant.  It’s a complete holiday experience, blending authentic Cypriot hospitality, beachfront dining, stylish villas and apartments, and one of the most relaxing pool bar settings in the area, all intermingled into one and 'Open to the Public', with a small charge for sunbeds and umbrellas on the spacious lush green lawn!

It's on the top road, quite apt really coz this is without a doubt one of the finest eateries in the area, offering a captivating fusion of Tex-Mex, Native American, and American diner cuisine.  You'll find it nestled between the two sets of traffic lights, at the top of the strip, before the Prophet Elias lights, tbh you can't really miss it, it's the one with the teepee tent on the top, and its spacious, to say the least.

I loved this place the moment I saw the name, … It's a British Style pub, from the outside all white and doors, really cool signage and some comfy seating to enjoy a drink in the late sunny afternoons and watch the world go by, hanging baskets and signs everywhere. Inside, pristine, the bar wood and red brick, it's spacious with comfy seating, out back a Unique Beer Garden with regular live music events. Over to the right a separate games area, with pool table and regular Killer Pool and a Bar Football table … and to top it off one of the best chef's in Cyprus!!!

To Steki tou Boss, in the heart of Paralimni is an authentic Cypriot Taverna, offering that 'Home from Home' feeling! Inside the décor, in one part designer influenced bespoke wooden tables and chairs made really comfy, patchwork high stools up at the bar, blended with cafe-style seating, lots of wood, village artefacts everywhere, plants and really cool lighting. The menu is a tick list of what's in the kitchen so you create your own meze, 3 of those, 2 of these, none of them etc ... just brilliant .... Highly recommended ... I've been eating here since they opened and its definitely one of my favourites. These days they're swinging towards a Wine Bar Ristorante, combining a modern family atmosphere in a minimalist design setting, it's cool and breezy through the summer and warm and welcoming in the winter with one of the best kitchens in Cyprus!

Situated just to the right of Ayia Napa Harbour, a little more serene, relax with a drink out front in a modern chilled ambiance, or under the huge covered terrace or out back, overlooking the med ... it really is a perfect place to enjoy fresh premium seafood delights and there's a huge pristine lawn and a playground area for the kids with swings, trampolines, tunnels, slides, and things ... I grabbed a chance to pop in for a chat with owner Andreas and his son Thomas.  With over 30 years experience Andreas is an expert in English Style Indian Cuisine.  He's contributed his whole life to his work, spending over 5 years on a mission to travel all over the UK researching the different recipes from the different settlers of various regions of Indian … btw, they also boast a TripAdvisor award putting them in the top 10% Indian Restaurants in the World!
