Aeyialos Fish Restaurant & Beach Bar, Pernera, Protaras

Let's start by saying this is a fish lovers haven! ... the setting, is on the coast, with mature trees, casting shadows over pristine lawns, with scattered sun loungers and Hawaii style thatched umbrellas, sweeping down to the tiny sandy bay.  Here and there, little alcoves of places to hide, some with sofas and others with hammocks to chill to the max. Off the restaurant, terraces with wooden decking overlooking a panoramic view of the med, and btw, this fish restaurant has been nominated for Time Out Fish Restaurants 2017 and I think they deserve it !"

Kamasias Taverna, Paralimni

... they call them seasonal 'Rain Gifts', and this is where this place excels ... because this Tony and the family are dedicated to bringing you the freshest and most sought after wild Cypriot produce, like baby wild Artichokes, Snails, fresh Asparagus, and a regular trip to Paphos to find rare Wild Mushrooms, is all part of the norm, Tony often walking 15 to 25 km a day to bring you the best selection that night ... needless to say if you like wild Mushrooms omg, this place is a must !!!

Karas Fish Taverna, Kapparis

The name Karas is synonymous with quality fresh fish, and it's regarded as one of the best fish restaurants in Cyprus, so its naturally a Cypriots favourite, and purely by reputation, they come from all over Cyprus to eat here !

Blue Spice Restaurant Art Gallery, Pernera

It's a family run restaurant, at the helm Frixos is an awesome host gifting traditional Cypriot hospitality like no other ... Partner and Head Chef 'Savvas' says he likes a happy kitchen, that way you'll get food served with passion ... always looking for new recipes, this Chef trained in Germany for ten years, 2 in France, 2 in Italy, so he is truly international in experience and compliments that with ten international chefs ... including a Silver Needle Sous Chef from Thessaloniki, Greece ...

Xilino Lounge Bar & Restaurant, Vrysoulles

Their menu is awesome, it changes as often as the seasons and as regular as the sun !

Misohoro Taverna, Dherynia

They called it 'MisoHoro', as it in the centre of the village, I always thought it meant Half a Dance ? ... ha! when you leave here you'll only just about be able to walk 😉

Terrazza Restaurant & Lounge Bar, Ayia Napa

Again outside, and attached to the restaurant, my Favourite Place, a wonderful lounge bar, a sort of posh beer garden, in parts covered Gazebos, up high lovely sails with bits left al' fresco, aka under the stars ... Here you can enjoy, drinks from the garden bar, and finger foods, Pizzas, maybe add an exotic flavour, chilled appropriately and shared with friends, coz in this ambience it's well cool, and I just have to say the setting around the centre seating area adorned with cool architectural lighting is stunning, to say the least, and they didn't cut back on comfort here!

Mr. Souvlaki, Pernera

When the boys called me to tell me they're opening a traditional BBQ shack in Pernera, I was excited to say the least ... you know, there's absolutely nothing like a traditional Cypriot Kebab, it's almost indigenous to Cyprus. That forgettable aroma of fresh pork or chicken, finely dusted with oregano and sea salt, slowly cooking over real wood charcoals is unforgettable, and the flavours at Mr. Soulvlaki are tantalising to say the least ...
