Serena Bay Beach Bar & Restaurant, Pernera
An eatery of the highest esteem, I love the crazy paved terrace, shaded by tall mature trees, that twinkle delightfully as the sun sets, the crazy colourful tables and chairs, almost kindergarden'ish, little alcoves of comfy seating, hammocks set up high in the trees, whilst down a tier, skirting the rocks, a pathway leading to the almost private beach on the left, that'll have mellow music and waiter service and there's plenty of sunbeds, all with a view to die for, a sea of serenity at Sirena Bay ...
Sonny’s Restaurant, Paphos
Coming outta Shepherds Bush in London, Chris with over 30 years experience and catering in his blood, followed his father's footsteps and in 2012 he finally sealed the deal to buy the old Banana Cabaret Bar in Kissonerga, better known for its sauciness than its sauces 😉 He named it 'Sonny's, after his son, so I suppose it was inevitable Sonny would join his dad sooner or later, together they make an unbeatable team! ... And tbh, you'll probably need to book to make sure you find a table!
Hugga by the Sea Lounge Bar Restaurant, Livadia, Larnaca
It's classy, chic and unique, it's spacious, the designer obviously minimalistic with a touch of finesse. Outside there's a large terrace, partly covered, with comfy bench sofas and seats, huge umbrellas, dropping down to lush gardens, with mature trees creating the shade, overlooking the sea, with gorgeous architectural lighting by night ... inside its all stone pillars and wood with classy finishing, stylish lighting, high ceilings, cool touches and condiments to compliment, all creating an ambience that puts them up high in my favourite eaterie rankings.
BBQ Man, Cyprus
They'll turn up, on time, every time, and cook you everything from breakfast or brunch to a three-course a'la carte meal, in your kitchen or the venue of your choice, even if you want it served around your complex pool or on the beach.
Poseidonia Beach Hotel, Limassol
Wanax Beach Bar
was one of the main reasons I wanted to catch up with Genia was to find out more about 'Wanax', their newly opened Beach Bar, come Tapas Beach Bar that I'm hearing is the in-place to be on the west coast, fast becoming one of the popular beach bars. Opening every day as a beach bar, with an international a'la carte menu 'til 6 pm. Then on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, it's a fabulous beach bar by day serving signature cocktails, and by night, from 7 pm 'til late it transforms into Wanax Mediterranean Tapas Bar, with a different concept, the themed specialty is Tapas, accompanied by a little live Salsa music and don't miss their weekly Sunday Latin Beach Parties
Kings of Coconuts, Cyprus
Their Coconuts are full of raw unpasturised fresh coconut juice, and tasty young coconut flesh, packed with electrolytes, containing as much potassium as two bananas and with zero cholesterol, almost no calories, and extremely low in fat, a perfect part of any healthy diet, that will help you build your immune system.
Soul Heaven @ Guaba, Limassol

Lambros Fish & Chips & Kebab Tavern, Dhekalia, Larnaca
... These days he's got a crew of 30, most working as part of the family for years, and 'well oiled' is an understatement ... serving the best Cod and Haddock, and a nice bit of Plaice, imported from UK, Norway, Germany and France, deep fried in Lambros' crispy batter or breadcrumbs and served, of course, with chips made with Cyprus potatoes, pure heaven! ... opps, don't forget the mushy peas or maybe gravy, or curry sauce to dip your chips into and a few pickled onions and maybe a wally ... omg, old habits die hard oh, and almost forgot a good cuppa and a slice ... perfect!
