I had a good look around the shop, it's well laid out, shelving and racks of plumbing accessories, with samples clipped to the racks, divided by displays of tools, and an abundance of brass all over the place.  They stock pretty much everything you'll need to sort out your plumbing needs, heating, cooling, pumps, tools for plumbing and air conditioning, copper pipes and fittings, taps, mixer taps, and showers.  I just have to say, 'whenever I go here, I just take a photo of what I want to fix or do, and they give me exactly what I need to do it!'

As I walked in for the first time, I was well impressed with the simple blackboards adorning the walls up the stairs leading to the bar on the first floor.  Inside, it's all dark wood and industrial style metal ... cool signs everywhere, I couldn't resist getting a couple of shots, how do you like your whiskey?  The bar is open on three sides, so lovely cool breezes with really cool views over the heart of Napa, Marios laughed as he said, "it's packed in here for the festive parades"!

I recently caught up with Savvas, who, in my book, is one of the old school, around since before Napa became the clubbing capital of Europe.  He told me, "I got on my first motorbike when I was 12, and opened this bike rentals in 1992.  Over a lovely coffee, Savvas said, "We were renting out mostly those little 50cc bikes.  When Cyprus joined Europe in 2004, Quad Bikes and Buggies started flooding the rental market, so I launched, what became an excellent Quad Buggy Safari in 2012 ... These days we have over 150 Quads, Buggies, Scooters and Motor Bikes for rent with really cool prices ...

I was thrilled to finally get a chance to catch up with Zannetos at Fig Tree Bay Zefkas George & Son Restaurant, and I was amazed to learn that the history of Fig Tree Bay actually started here ... This beach, of course, has always been popular with the locals way before tourism really existed. Situated on the far west of Famagusta Bay, where the locals went to get away from it all, in the days when there was absolutely nothing here but sand and a few footprints ... At midnight all the lights are extinguished in the church and the priest comes from behind the doors of the altar carrying a candle.  Walking to somebody in the front row and lighting their candle, this person and so on then pass the light from candle to candle and the light fills the church, symbolizing the Resurrection.  Everyone then kisses one another and exchanges the words 'Christos Anesti' - Christ has risen, 'Alithos Anesti' - truly He has risen. ...

I love a game of cards, and Poker is one of my favourites.  So, I was really happy to catch up with Asteros, the manager, at the Cyprus Poker Federation, Ayia Napa for a coffee and a chat.  Asterios said, "The Cyprus Poker Federation was originally established back in 2019 to help advance Poker in Cyprus, and is dedicated to promoting the game and supporting the local poker community" ... I'd been trying to catch up with Andrew at Julianna Rental Cars in Kapparis for ages.  Renowned as one of the most reliable Car Rental Companies in the area and it was my pleasure to sit him down for a chat ... Closing four decades this year Julianna has become a name synonymous with quality and affordability .
