George showed me around the grounds explaining; "You can learn so much about marine life here, and rivers and swamps and the Penguins, the first ever in the Mediterranean region, naturally kept comfortable in the appropriate climate controlled environment".  Just watching one of their videos I amazingly learned that all Gold Fish don't have stomachs, so they have to keep eating, which means you should feed them small amounts 5 times a day, probably why I was never successful keeping one, but now I know!

... so if you're starting your summer tan, there's no better place to be in Europe, coz as usual we've got the best weather, blended with finest beaches.  Ayia Napa and Protaras Beaches being voted 1st and 3rd respectively by Trip Advisor and with and the nicest sea I've ever had the pleasure to swim in, licensing hours that are as good as all day, not too good for the tan, one of the world's top club scenes, and that amazing home from home feeling, mmm !

Roulla didn't want to just sell normal shoes, Roulla wanted high heels, naturally!, extreme design, of course!, extreme colours, why not?, crazy prints, the crazier the better!, oh and a few studs, that goes without saying, and she told me, within 6 months it was obvious there was a lot of ladies out there just like her age 18 to 90, yes 90 ...

Individual artists from all over the world have come together to present this open air display of art also known as, A Symposium.  These artists have made great contributions to their field to present this splendid array of art which depict themes that are mainly influenced by Greek Mythology.

... They all get face painted, and fly kites and stuff, and btw don’t worry if you’ve not been invited, just go for a walk in any field on Monday 11th and you’ll probably get asked to join in, you know Cypriot hospitality n’all …

... oh and don’t worry, there’s so much to do if you look around, Cyprus is versatility to the extreme, so you’ll still be able to ski and snowboard up in the Troodos Mountains in the morning and swim in the Med in the afternoon and the spring air is really clear, so in between the occasional wintry storms, you’ll still get a fab tan! 

For all you busy mums out there, or indeed anyone with a busy schedule ... here's something you can throw together before you go out and have ready for when you get home !

It's January, and as we’ve always said; Cyprus is versatility to the extreme, you just have to love this place coz in January you can ski in the Troodos mountains in the morning and just over an hour later you can be swimming in the med … Maybe the other way around, then you can get into some Après Ski in and chill out in a log cabin in the mountains, total tranquility comes to mind, and do it the other way around tomorrow!
