Spectacular
This just has to be the number one dining experience in Ayia Napa. It’s Japanese with an Asian fusion twist, it’s awesome cuisine, but it’s more than that, it’s an absolutely spectacular show, accompanied by Japanese hospitality of the highest order … so if you’re looking for a really special, fun night out, this is the place to go … oh, and you can keep your shoes on 🙂
3rd Decade
Avgoustinos the manager, helped launch this excellent eatery in 1999, 23 years later it’s still arguably the best Japanese in Cyprus, certainly, on the east coast and because they are open all year they have an excellent following from the local market too, and if you’ve never been here I highly recommend it … btw, I’d advise you to call in advance to book a table to avoid disappointment because this place is that good, it gets busy, all year!
The Ambience
Top Teppanyaki Chefs from Japan and Asia create an electric atmosphere, entertaining you while conjuring up some of the finest cuisine, cooked fresh to order, and live, right in front of you, so it’s a perfect choice for your birthday party, wedding celebration, or any special event, and it’s a popular choice for stag or hen nights … and, whatever you do, don’t forget your camera!
Tantalising Combinations
It’s a spacious restaurant, so naturally, you can choose a more romantic corner, especially if you’re just looking for the freshest sushi in town. The menu is extensive, to say the least, but you really must try the Special Hokkaido Sushi Platter, a 26 Piece Combination of Sushi with tantalising sauces, it’s hard to choose a favourite here but for starters, I love the Salmon Crispy Roll and many a locals fav is the massive King Prawn Sushi Roll …
Home Made
Sometimes, I just pop in for a snack, and normally choose either Chicken stuffed with asparagus and garlic or the Beef, with sweet potatoes, baby corn, snow peas, pineapple, and homemade light curry sauce, it’s too die-for! … If there’s two of us the Crispy Duck it’s perfect, and btw, they naturally have a great selection for vegetarians!
To your taste
The menu is so varied you’ll definitely find something to please your taste buds … and there’s an excellent selection for ‘Vegan Diets’ too and a separate ‘Fasting Menu’ with a variety of fasting Sushi … Quite brilliant!
Cafe Style
I’ve been eating here since they opened, and I often pop in sort of cafe style, as they make perfect aromatic coffees, but really it’s because the desserts are soooo delicious … my favourites being Chocolate Spring Roll, mmm! or the Fried Bananas with Honey, even more yummy!
Awesome Crew
The manager, the eminent Avgoustinos, and the awesome crew have been together for years, they’re impeccably presented and ready to serve always, speaking, English, Greek, German and Russian.
