If you don't know this place, you've been missing out for about 8 years, because without doubt this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten in. It's a family run eatery and Si, manages the place with such finesse, the staff compliment with service of the highest order ...
It's deceiving from the outside, 'Tardis' like, comes to mind, as inside you'll find about 7,000 different labels, everything from postcards to booze and puffs, chocolates, drinks and munchies, to all your basic groceries and fresh fruit and veg, oh, Suntan Lotions and Beachwear, Body Boards and Buckets & Spades, and they're open 24/7, 365 Days a year ... now that's what I call 'convenient' and just what you'll need 😉
... They definitely don't sell fast food here, they sell really good food as fast as they can and the menu is truly international, carefully prepared by Emma, ably assisted by 5 top chefs, headed up by Gavin and Andrew who conjure up a menu of international culinary delights to suite absolutely every taste, using only fresh local produce and imported delicacies ... and whatever you do you really must leave some room for dessert, or just go for desserts ... mmmm!
... I love the tall beer barrel tables and stools, and inside, its all wood, a cozy atmosphere, crazy, intimate, chandeliers, music posters, comfy seating and rock stuff all over the place ... excellent service, oh and a really cool ambiance that's created by lots of like-minded, live music, rock, blues and occasionally jazz freaks, of all ages and nationalities ...
Getting into the natural food thing isn't as hard as you think ! Replacing things like crisps and biscuits, with really fresh nuts and totally fresh, dried, and sugarless fruits is easy, tbh, knowing you're not putting rubbish inside you is a fulfilling emotion and actually I discovered ages ago the tastes are just awesome !
The bar is open from 9 am to 2 am, so you can pop in for breakfast, brunch, lunch, gorgeous coffees in the afternoon with a naughty slice of cake, maybe a romantic dinner for two, or just evening drinks and a catch up with friends, whichever you choose, this is an awesome place to go. They provide a great menu from their hearty breakfasts to amazing platters or grilled main meals to amazing homemade desserts.
... they call them seasonal 'Rain Gifts', and this is where this place excels ... because this Tony and the family are dedicated to bringing you the freshest and most sought after wild Cypriot produce, like baby wild Artichokes, Snails, fresh Asparagus, and a regular trip to Paphos to find rare Wild Mushrooms, is all part of the norm, Tony often walking 15 to 25 km a day to bring you the best selection that night ... needless to say if you like wild Mushrooms omg, this place is a must !!!
I've been eating here since they opened and its definitely one of my favourites. These days they're swinging towards a Wine Bar Ristorante, combining a modern family atmosphere in a minimalist design setting, it's cool and breezy through the summer and warm and welcoming in the winter.
