It's a lovely idea for a different day out. What I really like about The Camel Park is it’s diversity, as there’s always something new to see every time you go. With such a lot of animals, there’s often a few babies around including iccle Camels, ranging from as little as 2 weeks old … they are just delightful! You can choose to stroll around at your leisure or there’s guides who offer information in several languages.
I just love their tagline ... 'You can't buy happiness, but you can buy Donuts, and that's kind of the same thing' ... so pop in or call them and give someone something different for their wedding, birthday party, name day, naughty days and well, everyday ... with cool discounts for large orders ... and if you order a minimum of 100 he'll even deliver them to your party.
The Coconut is full of raw unpasturised fresh coconut juice and tasty young coconut flesh, packed with Electrolytes, containing as much Potassium as two bananas and with zero cholesterol, almost no calories and extremely low in fat, a perfect part of any healthy diet ...
They called it 'MisoHoro', as it in the centre of the village, I always thought it meant Half a Dance ? ... ha! when you leave here you'll only just about be able to walk 😉
Let's start by saying this is a fish lovers haven! ... the setting, is on the coast, with mature trees, casting shadows over pristine lawns, with scattered sun loungers and Hawaii style thatched umbrellas, sweeping down to the tiny sandy bay. Here and there, little alcoves of places to hide, some with sofas and others with hammocks to chill to the max. Off the restaurant, terraces with wooden decking overlooking a panoramic view of the med, and btw, this fish restaurant has been nominated for Time Out Fish Restaurants 2017 and I think they deserve it !"
George showed me around the grounds explaining; "You can learn so much about marine life here, and rivers and swamps and the Penguins, the first ever in the Mediterranean region, naturally kept comfortable in the appropriate climate controlled environment". Just watching one of their videos I amazingly learned that all Gold Fish don't have stomachs, so they have to keep eating, which means you should feed them small amounts 5 times a day, probably why I was never successful keeping one, but now I know!
Naturally, while I was chatting to Chris, I had to try a few of the flavours 😉 and have to say I was amazed by the variety of tastes that you can add to Kettle Corn, Salted or Sweet ... The first I just had to try was the Marshmallow, just amazing, next the Cranberry, delicious, I took some home ...

Bursting at the seams with talent, one of my best friends 'Xenis', without doubt one of Cyprus' finest chefs, who passionately conjures up his Cordon Bleu pub grub, using only the freshest and finest ingredients from local suppliers and some grown in Xenis' personal allotments ... and btw Xenis likes to stay one step ahead of the competition 😉
