By night it's chill out early, then by 10'ish it's best described as a Pre-Club Party Bar, with a wicked sound system, lights and smoke, confetti 'n all, so be warned you might not make it to the club coz this lot party every night … With resident and guest DJ's through the season, the music, playing a cool mix of House, R'n'B and Classic Party tunes with MC's that'll get you up on your feet and you'll be dancing on the the dance floor, podiums and well, pretty much anywhere you wanna! ... I recently accidentally discovered 'Nai Coffee' on the road from Dherynia to Sotira.  The building is the stunning, old 'Kalograia Taverna', the barn-style staggered apex roof, striking and unusual.  It was the Illy Coffee sign that initially grabbed my attention, and I fancied a coffee, so my curiosity getting the better of me, I just had to pop in ...

... we had to go with the times and old TV programs got dropped and we started a little entertainment and the pub matured, signs and blackboards every where and pretty much the same crowd would come in, a mix of young guests and the more mature lot who still remember the show ... and their popularity grew even more when the snack menu changed into a real pub grub menu ...

This is without doubt, one of my fav places to sit and watch the world go by ...

I met Flouris in his early days at Good Fortune Restaurant in Ayia Napa.  Now in a prime position at the top of the strip in Protaras, son Andreas has joined the family business and together they make an awesome team, bringing you that traditional Cypriot hospitality that made Cyprus famous ... putting first class customer service as their number one priority !

I am delighted to introduce you to The Lordos Group of Hotels as I've worked closely with their 3 hotels and indeed the Lordos family since 1993.  They are without a doubt one of Cyprus' leading companies and their 3 hotels certainly excel when it comes to location, comfort, and hospitality.  Each hotel with its own specific features, each hotel unique in its own way, all ideally situated in perfect locations, pretty much, right on the beach!

We recently popped into Eden Square, firstly for dinner at El Chico Mexican Restaurant and following our delicious meal with a couple of perfect Mojitos in Nalu Cocktail Bar in Protaras. I grabbed a moment to chat to owner Constantinos on the night and I arranged a day to do a catch up …

I met Daniela at The Cyprus Bar Show in Kapparis, and when I found out she had recently bought one of my favourite eateries 'Cinnamon Lounge Bar' at the 100+-year-old Mansion aka Shongas Inn, in the heart of Deryniea Village, I just had to find out more.  So we arranged a meeting and over a delicious coffee I was more than pleasantly surprised, this lady is on another level ...

I was delighted to be invited to 'Play 4 All' to catch up with owner Lucas Polycarpou and I have to say, I had no idea just how much they do here, with 6 Full Size Bowling Alleys, a Children's Play Room, called 'The Jungle' and a fully fitted club style party room called 'La Mour' for up to 150 of your friends.  There's also a restaurant with a top chef presenting a full a' la carte menu and that's just for starters, excuse the pun … oh and, a few big screen TV's so you can just pop in for a drink to watch all the live sports and the footie! … So it really is a fun place for kids, and grown ups!
