... the first thing that impressed me was the fact they don't have a freezer in the place, so meat, fish and vegetables are ordered fresh every day ... brilliant !  Must have something to do with why they were voted in the top three restaurants in Ayia Napa by Trip Advisor in 2017, and btw that makes them No:1 on the area of the square ..

It's a short trip to the Seacaves where he moor's up and then dives in and starts off the underwater show ... Then they'll let you swim into one cave and out another before the cliff jumping! ... I've watched this pub grow since it opened in 1988.  It's all dark wood, tables, comfy seats and benches.  The whole place is covered in artefacts, flags, posters, blackboards and hundreds of photos added over the years.  I'm sure I'm in a few, ha!, in fact, I probably took a few of them too.  It's a GastroPub with a cool mix of an international clientele, and of course, the locals in the area, even our nationals who swarm down to the East Coast for a swim on a weekend, and something to eat, and all add to the ever-increasing repeat custom and inevitably, I'd have to say; it's one of the most successful pubs in Cyprus! ... Tbh, the weekends are soooo busy I prefer to go Monday til Thursday, I get more attention 😉

What I like most about this estate agent is the 'Extremely Transparent' tag they've developed from trust and pricing to the way they'll point out the bad points along with the good ones.  I love the extra effort they put into each property, checking on title deeds, and building permits and keeping close ties with local authorities so that they pretty much know everything about each property on their books.

Ed’s Note October 2026

It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
