I am delighted to add The Lordos Group of Hotels to our guide as I've worked closely with their 3 hotels and the Lordos family since 1993.  They are without a doubt one of Cyprus' leading companies and their 3 hotels certainly lead the way for comfort and hospitality.  Each hotel with it's own specific features, each hotel unique in it's own way.  All ideally situated in perfect locations, pretty much, right on the beach!

It's a picturesque setting, with the restaurant literally on the riverbank, overlooking the fishing shelter, on the estuary of the Liopetri River aka 'Potamos', with stunning views stretching all the way to Cape Greko.  Inside, traditional, comfortable seating, fresh fish fridges, old photos on walls, and outside on the terrace with decking, where their two fishing boats are docked, seating for around 150 diners, lined with umbrellas for a little shade, and with the sea just a few metres away. you couldn't find a more perfect setting to eat fish!  btw, Haris and Margaritas' grandfather Nicolas opened this delightful beachside location in Potamos 50 years ago, so all the local fishermen could enjoy their days' catch, and btw, they still do.

It was the name that first caught my attention, Shakes and Lattes', very clever, I thought! ... Then, this wonderful idea, equally brilliant!, a Board Gaming Café, nestled in the vibrant City of Larnaca, and I just had to get together with David, owner of 'Shakes and Lattes' to find out more ...

The result is a vintage cafe style wine bar, full of colour and design that suits the area of old town Larnaca, somewhere to chill by day and party by night, with tasty snacks and spontaneous gigs, live music, Resident DJ Yiannis and top name guests like DJ Nicos Vavaresos sharing the decks, Acoustic nights, oh and Cuban or Latin nights, that get a tad busy, hmm its been known for them to run out of Corona and like, 20 bottles of Rum in one night !!!
