Antigoni Markou Christofi, Advocate & Legal Consultant, Paralimni

Husky Sledding Cyprus, Mount Olympus, Troodos

0
"we were up in the Troodos mountains, letting the dogs taste a little snow, run around and have fun, my friend Garry rented a sled, and while playing with the dogs he just asked me to hand him the leads, and it was amazing, we couldn't believe it, the huskies absolutely loved it, they couldn't wait to pull the sled again and again, wagging their tails and barking to let us let them run ... so we had a purpose built sled specially made for us and now the dogs can do what they do, naturally, and as they loved it so much, I thought why not share this with like minded people".

Peter Morton Removals Ltd., Paphos

0
Moving house can be a very stressful time, likewise moving your business, car, or that prized possession.  Using a professional removals, shipping, and Logistics company will always alleviate those pressures and when it comes to removals, Debbie and Peter Morton personify the word 'professional'. Their reputation is second to none in Cyprus, in fact, to many people, they are the only company they would choose ... currently, that's about 60 families and businesses a week, in fact, we used them when we recently brought over some furniture from Wales, along with 120 Whisky Barrels!

To Steki tou Boss, Paralimni

0
To Steki tou Boss, in the heart of Paralimni is an authentic Cypriot Taverna, offering that 'Home from Home' feeling! Inside the décor, in one part designer influenced bespoke wooden tables and chairs made really comfy, patchwork high stools up at the bar, blended with cafe-style seating, lots of wood, village artefacts everywhere, plants and really cool lighting. The menu is a tick list of what's in the kitchen so you create your own meze, 3 of those, 2 of these, none of them etc ... just brilliant .... Highly recommended ... Margadina Lounge Hotel, Ayia Napa

It was built to be a 5-star accommodation, so a tad more spacious, but it's run as a 4-star, a tranquil escape from the excitement of Ayia Napa.  And, it's owned by the hands-on, charismatic, Pantelis of Liquid Café and Sage Fusion Restaurants fame, those in the know will understand it's inevitable this hotel can only be first class.

Ed’s Note October 2026

0
It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
