Artificial Grass by Rustic Furniture Collection, Paralimni

0
It’s so hard to grow natural grass in Cyprus, so Jimmy is the main agent, importing this fantastic selection of synthetic, aka artificial grass of varying grades and blades, of 30mm, 35mm, and 40 mm length, in rolls of 25 metres length by 2 or 4 metres in width.  It can be cut to fit any size lawn, big or small, so you can make your garden lush green all year …

Andreas explained "Cannabidiol has no psychoactive properties in the body, in simple words 'you don't get wrecked'.  It helps contribute to the overall well-being of the body and reduces body pains and muscle spasms".  It is also an effective anti-inflammatory and helps with diseases such as in my case cancer, but also psoriasis, epilepsy, depression, anxiety, loss of appetite, and many, many more.  It also helps reduce stress, stops nausea and vomiting, and is antioxidant and neuroprotective ... Easter Orthodox Style, 2026

0
... At midnight all the lights are extinguished in the church and the priest comes from behind the doors of the altar carrying a candle.  Walking to somebody in the front row and lighting their candle, this person and so on then pass the light from candle to candle and the light fills the church, symbolizing the Resurrection.  Everyone then kisses one another and exchanges the words 'Christos Anesti' - Christ has risen, 'Alithos Anesti' - truly He has risen. ...

Andreas installs probably the best sound, light and automation equipment money can buy and to say he's a perfectionist is an understatement ... btw, you've probably been listening to his sound equipment and looking admiringly at his architectural lighting designs without even realising it!  Because, his work is evident in many restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels,  nightclubs, retail outlets, boat cruises and private homes from Paralimni to Paphos and everywhere in between ... Antigoni Markou Christofi, Advocate & Legal Consultant, Paralimni

0
I was trying to find out a bit more about the rules and red tape of residents from the UK and third-world countries moving to Cyprus and was highly recommended to meet Antigoni.  It was the greatest of pleasures to meet up with Antigoni, who I quickly realised is one of those people who has an extreme passion for her chosen career.

Napa City Apartments, Ayia Napa

0
… One of the things I like about this 'Touristic accommodation' is their central position, just 300 metres walk from the square in Ayia Napa.  It's a small complex, with only 14 spacious, studio and 1 bedroom apartments with kitchenettes, but no pool, or cafe, but that's not a problem because you're just 50 metres from a mini supermarket, tavernas, bars and amenities and the sea is just a few minutes away.

Parko Paliatso Luna Park, Ayia Napa

I love this place, the sounds of gears and links chinking, smothered by fair ground music, the smell of candy floss and bbq corn on the cob, the multi coloured lights and occasional girly screams. It's really cool idea coz you just buy a Wrist Band depending on your ages and what you want to do!

Ed’s Note October 2026

0
It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
