Ayia Napa

Begafigo Paddle Boarding Club, Ayia Triada, Paralimni

0
What makes Begafigo so special is its ideal location.  Ayia Triada, aka Trinity Beach, offers fine golden white sand, clear shallow waters, often as calm as a millpond, next to a scenic fishing harbour and the iconic, tiny, blue‑and‑white church, and as luck would have it, the launch of Tulum Beach Bar right next door was a blessing in disguise!

Safira Coffee House, Paralimni

0
Hidden Gem I love finding these little places that are a little bit different ... Safira Coffee House is exactly that! ... Nestled on the main road, almost on the zebra crossing from Likio School, Safira stands out as a retreat of comfort and tranquility, for locals and visitors alike.  This little hidden gem has quickly gained a reputation for its warm ambiance, exceptional service, and, of course, its delightful selection of coffees and snacks to dine in, takeaway, or get home delivery.

Savvas Louka Quad, Bike & Buggy Rentals, Ayia Napa

0
I recently caught up with Savvas, who, in my book, is one of the old school, around since before Napa became the clubbing capital of Europe.  He told me, "I got on my first motorbike when I was 12, and opened this bike rentals in 1992.  Over a lovely coffee, Savvas said, "We were renting out mostly those little 50cc bikes.  When Cyprus joined Europe in 2004, Quad Bikes and Buggies started flooding the rental market, so I launched, what became an excellent Quad Buggy Safari in 2012 ... It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!

Garden Furniture at Rustic Furniture Collection, Paralimni

What's so special about these designs, is the hydraulic reclining system added to the designs of these chairs and sunbeds.  Taking a seat on the first set, a 6-seater, dining table, I have to say I was very impressed at how smooth the high-back seat reclined with just a push of the button.
