Café Central, Ayia Napa

0
I met with Alexandra in Cafe Central, and over a delicious cappuccino I asked her to tell me more, starting with why my cappuccino was so good?  She smiled and said, "We selected Robusta coffee beans, from southern and central Africa, because it's an international multi-award winning coffee, with a woody, spicy, slightly bitter taste, that we preferred over Arabica" ... oh and just wait til you see the menu ...

Camel Park, Mazotos, Larnaca

It's a lovely idea for a truly different day out. What I really like about The Camel Park is it’s diversity, as there’s always something new to see every time you go. With such a lot of animals, there’s often a few babies around including iccle Camels, ranging from as little as 2 weeks old … they are just delightful! Parko Paliatso Luna Park, Ayia Napa

I love this place, the sounds of gears and links chinking, smothered by fair ground music, the smell of candy floss and bbq corn on the cob, the multi coloured lights and occasional girly screams. It's really cool idea coz you just buy a Wrist Band depending on your ages and what you want to do!

Ed’s Note October 2026

0
It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
