I popped into catch up with George and Eva Mintis who have been vey busy since Covid started, with the increase of interest from people moving to Cyprus from the EU and UK ... the topic of conversation moved towards Brexit and it seems they are even busier now, assisting with the purchase of property, offering legal assistance and property conveyancing and indeed immigration procedures after Brexit.  Cyprus of course is still having close ties to Britain.  On that note, this law office is highly respected in all these procedures.

The place looks so welcoming, a spacious alfresco lounge under vines with comfy sofas and just inside on the covered terrace, tables immaculately set, pristine, polished wine glasses of various sizes ready for a fine selection of wines, inside is lounge, bistro style, clean and shiny, a well stocked bar with stools if you only want wine 😉 and unusually loos on the same floor, so not walking up and down stairs, very cool ! ... This is without question one of Napa’s top clubs. Going since the nineties when Napa was the club capital of Europe, Club Ice is still one of the best clubs in Europe!  Holding a little under 2000 clubbers it's one of my favourite DJ auditoriums and the backdrop is ice cool 😉 and the lighting and sound system is absolutely awesome!

... it happens on a full moon, normally in August but this year it was on Saturday 14th September ... The place; The coastal pathway from Pernera to Protaras ... this time stretching all the way from Pola Costa and Blue Spice to Sunrise Beach Hotel, on Fig Tree Bay ... Along the way about 20 Stages set up for their excellent musicians to entertain the crowds who stroll along to the full moon, glistening on calm seas, listening to just about every genre of music from Greek Folk and soft rock, to Reggae and lots of Jazz ... naturally!

Ed’s Note October 2026

It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
