Ayia Napa

WARNING ! You’re gonna find it pretty hard to leave this fantasy to go back to reality …

Anyone who knows Napa, knows, that ‘full of youths’ stigma is just a load of media hype and no different from any other top resort! Fact is, it’s so versatile…

Hokkaido Japanese Restaurant, Ayia Napa

Top Teppanyaki Chefs from Japan and Asia create an electric atmosphere, entertaining you while conjuring up some of the finest cuisine, cooked fresh to order, and live, right in front of you, so it's a perfect choice for your birthday party, wedding celebration, or any special event, and it's a popular choice for stag or hen nights ... and, whatever you do, don't forget your camera!

Peter Morton Removals Ltd., Paphos

0
Moving house can be a very stressful time, likewise moving your business, car, or that prized possession.  Using a professional removals, shipping, and Logistics company will always alleviate those pressures and when it comes to removals, Debbie and Peter Morton personify the word 'professional'. Their reputation is second to none in Cyprus, in fact, to many people, they are the only company they would choose ... currently, that's about 60 families and businesses a week, in fact, we used them when we recently brought over some furniture from Wales, along with 120 Whisky Barrels!

A94 Bar & Grill, Ayia Napa

0
As I walked in for the first time, I was well impressed with the simple blackboards adorning the walls up the stairs leading to the bar on the first floor.  Inside, it's all dark wood and industrial style metal ... cool signs everywhere, I couldn't resist getting a couple of shots, how do you like your whiskey?  The bar is open on three sides, so lovely cool breezes with really cool views over the heart of Napa, Marios laughed as he said, "it's packed in here for the festive parades"!

Ammochostos Motor Museum, Ayia Napa

I wanted to have a chat before Andreas gave me a personal tour of the museum, so we met upstairs in the cafe and ice cream parlour, my delicious cappuccino brewed with 'Vittorio Coffee' pure Arabica from Brazil.  I asked Andreas to tell me how it all started?  He said, "It started as a hobby, I would find old cars, in Cyprus, mostly Fords, buy them and restore them myself, to showroom perfection, sometimes having to source spare parts from all over the world.  Then he said, " Next thing you know, whenever my friends were selling a vintage or classic car, I would buy it".

It's the only summer event on the beach in Napa! in its 9th season, this year's gonna be wicked, with a cool line up ... Aristides Craft Distilling, Tseri, Nicosia

0
My initial interest was to find out about their gins, Aris explained, "it's what originally brought us back to Cyprus, 'to create a quality craft gin'.  Our initial inspiration was the aroma of The Troodos Mountains after a long dry summer when it first rains and we wanted to capture exactly that and put it in a bottle and we called it Aoratas Dry Gin which in fact last year won a gold medal.

To Steki tou Boss, Paralimni

0
To Steki tou Boss, in the heart of Paralimni is an authentic Cypriot Taverna, offering that 'Home from Home' feeling! Inside the décor, in one part designer influenced bespoke wooden tables and chairs made really comfy, patchwork high stools up at the bar, blended with cafe-style seating, lots of wood, village artefacts everywhere, plants and really cool lighting. The menu is a tick list of what's in the kitchen so you create your own meze, 3 of those, 2 of these, none of them etc ... just brilliant .... Highly recommended ... Talking about beaches, Ayia Napa and Protaras on the east coast, boast 2 of the Best Beaches in Europe and tbh, we're blessed with the nicest sea I’ve ever had the pleasure to swim in, in the world ... Add stuff like; Licensing hours currently ‘til 2.30 am, and then, of course, our night clubs will take you through to sunrise, not too good for the tan unless you go straight to the beach after a good night out, speaking by experience 😉

Antigoni Markou Christofi, Advocate & Legal Consultant, Paralimni

0

Parko Paliatso Luna Park, Ayia Napa

I love this place, the sounds of gears and links chinking, smothered by fair ground music, the smell of candy floss and bbq corn on the cob, the multi coloured lights and occasional girly screams. It's really cool idea coz you just buy a Wrist Band depending on your ages and what you want to do!

Ed’s Note October 2026

0
It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
