... the media tried to say Napa' is notorious for booze crazed youths, dropping all their inhibitions, getting plastered, tattooed and having sex or passing out in the doorways, you know, sun sea and sex holidays ... yep !  It's no different from any other top resort in the world but at least in Cyprus, you get guaranteed sun 330 days a year, a few of the best beaches in Europe, one of the best seas in the world and loads of sex on the beach ... I'm referring to the cocktail 😉

The course is well managed, self-funded and very well maintained, and tbh, suits mid to high handicap players ... originally carved out by Major Franks RE and his engineers back in 1964 ... It's 18 holes, split by a gated road, 11 holes one side and 7 the other, with artificial grass greens ... totaling 6,500 yards, there's 4 x Par 3's 12 x Par 4's and 2 x Par 5's ...  and a course total of Par 70 ... with the course record an excellent 66 by ex-pro Tony Lassia

I wanted to have a chat before Andreas gave me a personal tour of the museum, so we met upstairs in the cafe and ice cream parlour, my delicious cappuccino brewed with 'Vittorio Coffee' pure Arabica from Brazil.  I asked Andreas to tell me how it all started?  He said, "It started as a hobby, I would find old cars, in Cyprus, mostly Fords, buy them and restore them myself, to showroom perfection, sometimes having to source spare parts from all over the world.  Then he said, " Next thing you know, whenever my friends were selling a vintage or classic car, I would buy it".

Coming outta Shepherds Bush in London, Chris with over 30 years experience and catering in his blood, followed his father's footsteps and in 2012 he finally sealed the deal to buy the old Banana Cabaret Bar in Kissonerga, better known for its sauciness than its sauces 😉  He named it 'Sonny's, after his son, so I suppose it was inevitable Sonny would join his dad sooner or later, together they make an unbeatable team! ... Setting sail at 11 am daily from Ayia Napa’s splendid harbour, heading West along the coast to Palace Caves where they'll stop for a quick swim and you can watch them feeding the fish and it's a great place to do a bit of snorkeling and if you ask them nicely they'll let the kids steer .. I just love to see their facial expressions, brilliant!
