Pretty much every Friday and definitely every Saturday, and the day before a bank holiday they host live Rock gigs with big name international bands and the very best local Greek and English Rock Bands ... they even squeeze in a little Rhythm and Blues, Indie, Folk, and the occasional Reggae and Disco night too ... I've even caught them doing The Candy up on stage ... adding a bit of live comedy these days ... You'll love it here !

I've had the pleasure to work closely with this impeccable hotel since 1993.  To be honest if you ever stay here, there's a very good chance you'll go back!  I think its because it's still a family run hotel, with many of their staff staying long enough to be family and its without a doubt regarded as one of Cyprus's finest hotels.  In fact, they were recently awarded a Trip Advisor Travelers' Choice Award for 2021 to add to an ever increasing impressive list of awards over the years.

We arrived early, and I just have to say the interior designer made a stunning job, recreating a Gothic feel.  It's comfortable, not too posh, something different, encouraging casual dinning ... the bar, tables and chairs, all bespoke influence, black white and grey, with acute arches adorning the facade of the restaurant; the crew all wear braces, a lovely touch ... I just love all the plants and how they kept the 50 year old tree almost totally covering the garden terrace, for a little alfresco dinning.  Oh, and within minutes we were given the wine and cocktail menu, btw, this impeccable service didn't stop there ...

It's a traditional Irish Bar, so authentic all the furniture was crafted in Ireland an imported over, lots of dark warm wood, benches and stools, cottage cabinets and red brick. ... it happens on a full moon, normally in August but this year it was on Saturday 14th September ... The place; The coastal pathway from Pernera to Protaras ... this time stretching all the way from Pola Costa and Blue Spice to Sunrise Beach Hotel, on Fig Tree Bay ... Along the way about 20 Stages set up for their excellent musicians to entertain the crowds who stroll along to the full moon, glistening on calm seas, listening to just about every genre of music from Greek Folk and soft rock, to Reggae and lots of Jazz ... naturally!

It looks stunning from outside, recreated to look like the inside of a cave, with huge Dinosaur bones, arches and skeleton relics everywhere and I just love the Lizard stools ... all the crew are dressed up in character and of course Fred parked the Flintstones car outside, so don't forget to get a selfie or two ! Oh, there's big screens for all the live sports and a pool table and a cool beer garden with cool kid's play area out back.

What's so special about these designs, is the hydraulic reclining system added to the designs of these chairs and sunbeds.  Taking a seat on the first set, a 6-seater, dining table, I have to say I was very impressed at how smooth the high-back seat reclined with just a push of the button.
