Sonny’s Restaurant, Paphos

0
Coming outta Shepherds Bush in London, Chris with over 30 years experience and catering in his blood, followed his father's footsteps and in 2012 he finally sealed the deal to buy the old Banana Cabaret Bar in Kissonerga, better known for its sauciness than its sauces 😉  He named it 'Sonny's, after his son, so I suppose it was inevitable Sonny would join his dad sooner or later, together they make an unbeatable team! ... Standing proud at the top of Hero's Square, right in the heart of Limassol, a place where people gather, in days of old a mix of Greek and Turkish Cypriots, apparently once a red light district, now a mix of popular stylish bar's and eateries, and as the decline of cinema in the 80's inspired the new Rialto Theatre, that launched in 1999 and helped to develop the area into a hive of activities, cultural or not!

Sanctuary Fitness Studio, Paralimni

0
Ladies; As I walked in, I immediately thought, ‘wow this place looks the business’, spacious, with lots of mirrors, hanging fresh plants to increase the oxygen levels, above a row of impressive water-filled Aqua Eyedrop Punch Bags, and along the back wall, a line of very expensive ‘Stages’ Fitness Bikes of Amsterdam … I soon realised I wasn’t wrong.

Tulum Beach Bar, Trinity Beach, Ayia Triada

0
It's where Tranquillity & Energy Unite, Tulum Beach Bar effortlessly bridges the gap between relaxation and excitement.  As the weekdays roll in, the atmosphere transforms into a sanctuary of calm.  Whitewashed wooden furniture and flowing curtains create an ambiance that beckons you to escape the chaos of daily life.  But hold on, for when the weekend sun rises, Tulum flips its script.  Enter a world where the best local DJs spin Techno melodies that resonate through the air.  The contrast is nothing short of astonishing.

Parko Paliatso Luna Park, Ayia Napa

0
I love this place, the sounds of gears and links chinking, smothered by fair ground music, the smell of candy floss and bbq corn on the cob, the multi coloured lights and occasional girly screams. It's really cool idea coz you just buy a Wrist Band depending on your ages and what you want to do!

Ed’s Note October 2026

0
It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
