Inside, pristine, the bar wood and red brick, it's spacious with comfy seating, out back a Unique Beer Garden with regular live music events. It's one of my favourites to watch all the live sports . Over to the right a separate games area, with pool table and regular Killer Pool and a Bar Football table … and to top it off one of the best chef's in Cyprus!!!

Outside banners, bars, flowers, a huge stage, people and flags everywhere and the Christmas lights were getting us into the festive spirit as if we needed it ... as the night progressed, the drinks flowed, the canapes were delicious and Elena Tofas' Passion Dance School entertained the crowds, just before a few thankyous for coming from George and Eva and the cutting of the cake and the live music was just about to happen when I had to go ... only George & Eva can throw a party like this! I just love this luxurious accommodation located on the quiet side of Protaras.  I asked Larisa to tell me more ... Larisa said; "The hotel is about 350 metres away from the beautiful, serene Mediterranean sea at Lombardi Beach and Green Bay, where you'll probably spot the local turtles.  There's a coastal path to the Protaras strip and the hotel boasts breathtaking views of the sea.  All our new guests get that 'Wow factor as they arrive!"

The Lingo: Excuses aka Mañana

We thought you might appreciate a quick crash course in the basics of the local lingo, which is a sort of slang Greek, aka ‘Horthkatika’ which is basically a village Greek. Most of the locals speak English but they love it if you make an effort to speak their language. I do it in English phonetics so just read in English … Simples! … oh and don’t take it too seriously …

It's one of my favourite months, coz the long hot summer is over, or is it? coz it looks like our prediction that 'we’re gonna have another Indian Summer this year', is happening with temperatures expected to hit 29°C this month it looks like we were right again!  Following all that rain we had in October, the air is clearer, so the sun will be stronger, be warned!  So, you’ll still be able to wear shorts and a tee-shirt by day, chill out around the pool or pop down to the beach to Top up the Tan for Christmas, did I just say Christmas? omg! …
