I was invited by Antonis and Demitries to try their 'All You Can Eat Sushi & More Buffet at The Fish House Restaurant in Ayia Napa.  I have to say it was the 'More' bit that got my curiousity going, so I had to ask, "Antonis said, "Our chefs conjure up a selection of salads, the prawn salad was delicious, and Asian dishes, like samosas, spring rolls, fried rice, noodles, crispy chicken, crispy duck and pancakes ... It must be said that the garage was originally opened by dad, Michalis back in 1976 ... so Anninos grew up with greasy hands ... going on to excel in his studies, he's highly qualified with two degrees in Automotive Engineering, the first in Teesside University from 2010 to 2015 whilst working with Mercedes and BMW and later in Nicosia where he enhanced his Diagnostic qualifications ... in 2009 Anninos re-juvenated his fathers garage workshop with all the latest diagnostic testing equipment with just one goal, to be the best tuning garage workshop in Cyprus ... and it looks like he's well on target!

Ed’s Note October 2026

It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
