I have to say this bar is nothing like its name ... it's spacious, with a cool modern design, comfy seating, with an awesome sound system and cool lighting, and it's one of the few bars playing nice Chill-Out music by day and party sounds by night.  In fact, the nearest it gets to its name is when the Elvis tribute sings the song! ... But tbh, where this place excels is in its choice of nightly entertainment, selecting the best live vocalists and tribute acts on the circuit!

To Steki tou Boss, in the heart of Paralimni is an authentic Cypriot Taverna, offering that 'Home from Home' feeling! These days he's got a crew of 30, most working as part of the family for years, and 'well oiled' is an understatement ... serving the best Cod and Haddock, and a nice bit of Plaice, imported from UK, Norway, Germany and France, deep fried in Lambros' crispy batter or breadcrumbs and served, of course, with chips made with Cyprus potatoes, pure heaven! ... opps, don't forget the mushy peas or maybe gravy, or curry sauce to dip your chips into and a few pickled onions and maybe a wally ... omg, old habits die hard oh, and almost forgot a good cuppa and a slice ... perfect!

It's just a short walk up from Ayia Napa's square and without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Cyprus!, just ask anyone!  oh, and I should warn you, it’s seriously addictive!!!  Established over 30 years this eatery quickly gained its reputation as one of the finest eateries in Cyprus and every year they seem to get better.  They do absolutely everything with such style and finesse and with an excellent crew, most of them have been there for years, a few since they opened, so a more well-oiled team is hard to find.  Then there's the authentic music and traditional Mexican décor, regular events, oh, and sombreros and cacti everywhere! ... A visit is a must!

It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
