Y2K Boutique, Ayia Napa

Emily has an obvious passion for fashion, much as it was more of a hobby in her early days, somehow it's just evolved, you know, to some people being able to select the right items, designs and colours, comes naturally, but of course matching them together is the art of a stylist ... her selection, wonderful combinations, original designer wear, a touch above the rest, in quality and value and here you'll find fully trained staff with excellent styling abilities!

Java Eat Drink Lounge Bar, Pernera

0
The first impressions were the different design, open-fronted, industrial with minimalist tones, steel pillars, raw concrete and polished wood, high ceilings, really cool lighting, comfy seating, designer signs and the menu, 'different' to say the least but let's just say it's more of a diner than a cafe and highly recommended ...

Times have changed as far as the fascia goes, but for the past 28 years, the service is still exemplary and the cuisine is as traditional as it gets.  It's a family-run restaurant, from Luigi's warm welcome to the homemade Cypriot specialties using mum's secret recipes and the lovely touch of complimentary seasonal fruit, grown in dad's orchard, that they'll bring to your table for afters.

To Steki tou Boss, Paralimni

To Steki tou Boss, in the heart of Paralimni is an authentic Cypriot Taverna, offering that 'Home from Home' feeling! Inside the décor, in one part designer influenced bespoke wooden tables and chairs made really comfy, patchwork high stools up at the bar, blended with cafe-style seating, lots of wood, village artefacts everywhere, plants and really cool lighting. The menu is a tick list of what's in the kitchen so you create your own meze, 3 of those, 2 of these, none of them etc ... just brilliant .... Highly recommended ... Parko Paliatso Luna Park, Ayia Napa

I love this place, the sounds of gears and links chinking, smothered by fair ground music, the smell of candy floss and bbq corn on the cob, the multi coloured lights and occasional girly screams. It's really cool idea coz you just buy a Wrist Band depending on your ages and what you want to do!

Ed’s Note October 2026

0
It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
