Taking over the aptly named Din Dins, in June 2018, Glen, Debbie and Sharon had some really cool plans, and it's obvious they got it right, from the start!  Opening this family bar and restaurant, with comfy seating, both outside on the covered decking, edged with potted plants or inside, where you'll immediately notice a really friendly atmosphere, so the idea is, there's no rush if you're eating, and if you're not hungry you can just chill with a drink and soak up the atmosphere, quite unique, and on that note, the impulse banter between this crew in full flow is just awesome ...

Add this little touch to any party and it'll give your guests a little fun ... with new Green Screen and digital technology they can choose one of many backdrop for their photos ... I love the graffiti wall, its brilliant and they've got an ever increasing big bag of silly party props ... it'll be a great laugh, warning, don't wear a green t-shirt 😉 !

To Steki tou Boss, in the heart of Paralimni is an authentic Cypriot Taverna, offering that 'Home from Home' feeling! Inside the décor, in one part designer influenced bespoke wooden tables and chairs made really comfy, patchwork high stools up at the bar, blended with cafe-style seating, lots of wood, village artefacts everywhere, plants and really cool lighting. ... it happens on a full moon, normally in August but this year it was on Saturday 14th September ... The place; The coastal pathway from Pernera to Protaras ... this time stretching all the way from Pola Costa and Blue Spice to Sunrise Beach Hotel, on Fig Tree Bay ... Along the way about 20 Stages set up for their excellent musicians to entertain the crowds who stroll along to the full moon, glistening on calm seas, listening to just about every genre of music from Greek Folk and soft rock, to Reggae and lots of Jazz ... naturally!

Ed’s Note October 2026

It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
