What's On Cyprus

this local band based in Nicosia, are one of the few Cypriot bands that sing in English and tbh, they're unique in every sense of the word ... normally doing about 10 gigs a month the lockdown has given them time to think, differently, yet again!!!

The place looks so welcoming, a spacious alfresco lounge under vines with comfy sofas and just inside on the covered terrace, tables immaculately set, pristine, polished wine glasses of various sizes ready for a fine selection of wines, inside is lounge, bistro style, clean and shiny, a well stocked bar with stools if you only want wine 😉 and unusually loos on the same floor, so not walking up and down stairs, very cool ! ... Oh and really good cuisine !!!

If I'm looking for watersports and adventure sports I know where to go ... If I want to chill out this is one of my favourite spots! Paradise on Kato Paphos!

I asked Marios @ Andria Steak & Seafood Restaurant, in Coral Bay, Paphos what's their secret behind their success?  He said "it's down to the quality of our ingredients, everything is fresh daily and cooked to order, and to us, presentation is an art" ... I have to say it's impeccable!  Marios continued; "to cook a good steak you first have to buy a good steak, and that's exactly what we do, importing the finest Black Angus Beef and the freshest seafood caught daily by local fishermen" ... ... from the intro to the end, the girls put on an funny and spectacularly electric show with such passion and sooo much energy !!!

Tati followed in her father's footsteps and in 1990 opened their first shop in Old Town Paphos, which btw has just been rejuvenated into a excellent shopping centre, and where of course you'll find fine jewellery and fine time pieces at locals prices and almost two decades later Tati are now regarded as one of Cyprus' finest Jewellery Designers in Cyprus.

Koh i noor Is of course one of the worlds most famous diamonds, and this restaurant aptly boasts the same name and reputation, as it was Paphos' first Indian eaterie and now ending their second decade it's undoubtedly one of my most highly recommended ... I've eaten at a few of Europe's best and this place is well on par !
