The Grand Slam is a family run British style boozer, it's even on the corner, on the sunny side of the road, and once known as The Corner Pin, inside it looks busy, with quirky little designs mostly mums doing, I just love the Table Tops they're well cool ... ... the media tried to say Napa' is notorious for booze crazed youths, dropping all their inhibitions, getting plastered, tattooed and having sex or passing out in the doorways, you know, sun sea and sex holidays ... yep !  It's no different from any other top resort in the world but at least in Cyprus, you get guaranteed sun 330 days a year, a few of the best beaches in Europe, one of the best seas in the world and loads of sex on the beach ... I'm referring to the cocktail 😉

Ed’s Note October 2026

It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
