We arrived early, and I just have to say the interior designer made a stunning job, recreating a Gothic feel.  It's comfortable, not too posh, something different, encouraging casual dinning ... the bar, tables and chairs, all bespoke influence, black white and grey, with acute arches adorning the facade of the restaurant; the crew all wear braces, a lovely touch ... I just love all the plants and how they kept the 50 year old tree almost totally covering the garden terrace, for a little alfresco dinning.  Oh, and within minutes we were given the wine and cocktail menu, btw, this impeccable service didn't stop there ...

It's a picturesque setting, with the restaurant literally on the riverbank, overlooking the fishing shelter, on the estuary of the Liopetri River aka 'Potamos', with stunning views stretching all the way to Cape Greko.  Inside, traditional, comfortable seating, fresh fish fridges, old photos on walls, and outside on the terrace with decking, where their two fishing boats are docked, seating for around 150 diners, lined with umbrellas for a little shade, and with the sea just a few metres away. you couldn't find a more perfect setting to eat fish!  btw, Haris and Margaritas' grandfather Nicolas opened this delightful beachside location in Potamos 50 years ago, so all the local fishermen could enjoy their days' catch, and btw, they still do.

Outside banners, bars, flowers, a huge stage, people and flags everywhere and the Christmas lights were getting us into the festive spirit as if we needed it ... as the night progressed, the drinks flowed, the canapes were delicious and Elena Tofas' Passion Dance School entertained the crowds, just before a few thankyous for coming from George and Eva and the cutting of the cake and the live music was just about to happen when I had to go ... only George & Eva can throw a party like this! Now, this is where this place excels ... they call them seasonal 'Rain Gifts' because Tony and the family are dedicated to bringing you the freshest and most sought-after wild Cypriot produce, like baby wild Artichokes, Snails, fresh Asparagus, and Tony takes a regular trip to Paphos to find rare wild mushrooms, all part of the norm.  Tony often walks 15km to 25km a day to bring you the best selection that night ... needless to say if you like wild Mushrooms omg, this place is an absolute must!

What's so special about these designs, is the hydraulic reclining system added to the designs of these chairs and sunbeds.  Taking a seat on the first set, a 6-seater, dining table, I have to say I was very impressed at how smooth the high-back seat reclined with just a push of the button.
