To be honest if you'd asked me if I'd ever move to Cyprus in 1992 I'd have laughed at you but we stopped looking for excuses and decided to give it a go, moved in '93 and never looked back ... We now live in a country with one of the best climates in the world, long hot summers, short mild winters.  I believe it's the safest place with under 2 million population.  The Cypriots dote their children and live for the table.  We have several of the finest beaches in the world and I'd say the best sea I've ever had the pleasure to swim in ... so don't think about it just do it!!

Behind all those hedges, you'll find a really cool covered garden area with a smaller uncovered area.  Inside it's all wood and benches, comfy chairs, sidelights and candles, artifacts all over the walls and ceiling, it's set on two more floors, which separate off into bars, lounges and little cubby holes, each with at least one TV screen and there's even a separate Pool and Games Room and an awesome kitchen that doesn't close 'til midnight ...

At the end of every night, when the music dies in all the other bars, they go into Silent Disco Clubbing Mode ... on goes the headphones, choose what music you wanna listen to and you can sing as loud as you wanna and no one can hear you 😉 ... I popped into meet Stelios and Eleni, inside its clean cut, minimalistic, Italian designer style, with wooden flooring, comfortable seating for around 25 people inside and a few tables outside for Al' Fresco dining … Stelios told me "we wanted to make it feel like Home from Home" … I loved the really cool photos chosen by Eleni, especially the one saying "Eat the Spaghetti to Forget your Regretti", brilliant"!

Ed’s Note October 2026

It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
