Getting into the natural food thing isn't as hard as you think ! Replacing things like crisps and biscuits, with really fresh nuts and totally fresh, dried, and sugarless fruits is easy, tbh, knowing you're not putting rubbish inside you is a fulfilling emotion and actually I discovered ages ago the tastes are just awesome !

Begafigo Paddle Boarding Club, Ayia Triada, Paralimni

What makes Begafigo so special is its ideal location.  Ayia Triada, aka Trinity Beach, offers fine golden white sand, clear shallow waters, often as calm as a millpond, next to a scenic fishing harbour and the iconic, tiny, blue‑and‑white church, and as luck would have it, the launch of Tulum Beach Bar right next door was a blessing in disguise!

Camel Park, Mazotos, Larnaca

It's a lovely idea for a truly different day out. What I really like about The Camel Park is it’s diversity, as there’s always something new to see every time you go. With such a lot of animals, there’s often a few babies around including iccle Camels, ranging from as little as 2 weeks old … they are just delightful! What I like most about this company is the professional set up and their highest quality equipment.  Andreas explained, "primarily, for drain clearance we don't use hazardous toxic chemicals, we use normal water and very powerful jetting systems, with pressures from 100 to 350 bar and at temperatures up to 100°C  i.e. steam, and so, our system is totally biological"

I love this place, the sounds of gears and links chinking, smothered by fair ground music, the smell of candy floss and bbq corn on the cob, the multi coloured lights and occasional girly screams. It's really cool idea coz you just buy a Wrist Band depending on your ages and what you want to do!

Ed’s Note October 2026

0
It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
