Taking over the aptly named Din Dins, in June 2018, Glen, Debbie and Sharon had some really cool plans, and it's obvious they got it right, from the start!  Opening this family bar and restaurant, with comfy seating, both outside on the covered decking, edged with potted plants or inside, where you'll immediately notice a really friendly atmosphere, so the idea is, there's no rush if you're eating, and if you're not hungry you can just chill with a drink and soak up the atmosphere, quite unique, and on that note, the impulse banter between this crew in full flow is just awesome ...

This is, without doubt, one of Paphos' finest eateries ... It's a traditional Irish Bar, so authentic all the furniture was crafted in Ireland an imported over, lots of dark warm wood, benches and stools, cottage cabinets and red brick. There's plenty of room inside, a nice covered smoking room and a lovely breezy sun terrace out front with comfortable seating, and the pub grub just a tad above the rest ... it's just like you've walked into a bar in Dublin, only a bit warmer!

It's just a short walk up from Ayia Napa's square and without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Cyprus!, just ask anyone!  oh, and I should warn you, it’s seriously addictive!!!  Established over 30 years this eatery quickly gained its reputation as one of the finest eateries in Cyprus and every year they seem to get better.  They do absolutely everything with such style and finesse and with an excellent crew, most of them have been there for years, a few since they opened, so a more well-oiled team is hard to find.  Then there's the authentic music and traditional Mexican décor, regular events, oh, and sombreros and cacti everywhere! ... One of the most impressive features of the Amathus Ruins is the Temple of Aphrodite, which I believe, was excavated in the 1980s.  The temple was a center of worship for the goddess of love and beauty and was believed to have been built in the 6th century BC.  The temple was adorned with beautiful sculptures and frescoes, many of which can still be seen today.

"I was born in 1959 in the general hospital, which is now a college, I'll show you on our trip.  My family were producers of Strawberries in the neighbouring red soil village of Dherynia.  I grew up in the old city of Famagusta, or Varrossia as it was known.  I went to school there, I'll show you that too.  I knew every road and every corner, every shop and every hotel".
