The result is a vintage cafe style wine bar, full of colour and design that suits the area of old town Larnaca, somewhere to chill by day and party by night, with tasty snacks and spontaneous gigs, live music, Resident DJ Yiannis and top name guests like DJ Nicos Vavaresos sharing the decks, Acoustic nights, oh and Cuban or Latin nights, that get a tad busy, hmm its been known for them to run out of Corona and like, 20 bottles of Rum in one night !!!

These days he's got a crew of 30, most working as part of the family for years, and 'well oiled' is an understatement ... serving the best Cod and Haddock, and a nice bit of Plaice, imported from UK, Norway, Germany and France, deep fried in Lambros' crispy batter or breadcrumbs and served, of course, with chips made with Cyprus potatoes, pure heaven! ... opps, don't forget the mushy peas or maybe gravy, or curry sauce to dip your chips into and a few pickled onions and maybe a wally ... omg, old habits die hard oh, and almost forgot a good cuppa and a slice ... perfect!

Hosts Andreas and Karina, are completely 'down to earth' and absolutely love their pub and have continued it's 30 year tradition by being one of the only bars that stay open all year. Joining the crew recently Kevin of Three Lions Pub fame is bringing the pub grub menu to another level. Naturally it's a favourite with locals and long stay workers and of course they look after everyone that wants to join them, tbh, it's one big happy family here, and quite unique!

It's spring on the island of Aphrodite, our Goddess of Love and there's romance in the air, everywhere, especially on the 14th when we celebrate Valentine’s Day, which this year falls on a Friday so you might as well make love all weekend! ... oh and, I love watching the postman struggle to get all my cards in the little letterbox.
