It's a lovely idea for a truly different day out. What I really like about The Camel Park is it’s diversity, as there’s always something new to see every time you go. With such a lot of animals, there’s often a few babies around including iccle Camels, ranging from as little as 2 weeks old … they are just delightful! The Great Escape

To be honest if you'd asked me if I'd ever move to Cyprus in 1992 I'd have laughed at you but we stopped looking for excuses and decided to give it a go, moved in '93 and never looked back ... We now live in a country with one of the best climates in the world, long hot summers, short mild winters.  I believe it's the safest place with under 2 million population.  The Cypriots dote their children and live for the table.  We have several of the finest beaches in the world and I'd say the best sea I've ever had the pleasure to swim in ... so don't think about it just do it!!

The Cutting House, Protaras

I love this place, the sounds of gears and links chinking, smothered by fair ground music, the smell of candy floss and bbq corn on the cob, the multi coloured lights and occasional girly screams. It's really cool idea coz you just buy a Wrist Band depending on your ages and what you want to do!

Ed’s Note October 2026

0
It’s October already, that went quick!  and it really is one of my favourite months!  Partly because that long hot summer is definitely over, or is it? … I asked the fishermen and they said it might not rain again ‘til mid-November, with temperatures still up in the 30°C’s, as we enter October, that’s about 90°F in English.  Just as we predicted back in May, it looks like we’re going to have another Indian summer and we’ll still be going to the beach in December, Mmm, don’t you just love Cyprus!
